Role Description
HealthCorps is launching a new Growth & Strategic Partnerships Division, and the VP of Strategic Partnerships & Growth will be its architect, engine, and external face. You’ll hold a broad, high-impact portfolio:

Leading HealthCorps’ national funder and strategic partnerships.

Driving development, grant management, and fundraising.

Shaping our brand and marketing.

Growing our alumni, community, and hub partnership work.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will hold your own portfolio of partnerships, work closely with leadership to develop and execute strategies that meet HealthCorps' revenue and growth goals, and represent HealthCorps externally at donor meetings, funder convenings, and sector events.
What You'll Do

External Relationship Strategy, Cultivation & Maintenance (30%)

Serve as a key external relationship officer alongside the CEO.

Design and lead a comprehensive partnership strategy.

Build and manage a robust pipeline of new and emerging partnership opportunities.

Steward existing partners to deepen loyalty and drive renewals.

Track funding trends and shifting funder priorities.

Pitching, Proposals & Partner Stewardship (25%)

Own the full partnership sales cycle for mid-tier and emerging opportunities.

Develop pitches, proposals, and grant applications.
-
Partner with the CEO and leadership to identify and close transformational sponsorships.

Demonstrate ongoing value to existing partners through exceptional stewardship.

Brand Strategy & Voice (20%)

Set strategic tone and direction for the HealthCorps brand.

Lead the design and execution of a brand and communications strategy.
-
Partner with program teams to translate impact data into compelling narratives.
-
Develop partner-facing collateral that reflects the quality of the organization.

Represent HealthCorps at conferences and sector events.

Hub, Community & Alumni Partnerships (15%)

Build local advisory committees connecting HealthCorps to local leaders.

Strengthen HealthCorps' presence in each market.

Cultivate and engage HealthCorps' alumni as a strategic community.

Division Leadership & Team Management (10%)
-
Lead and develop a high-performing team.
-
Serve as a player-coach who models the work while developing others.

Establish and monitor division KPIs.
-
Manage the division budget and contribute to organization-wide strategic planning.
Qualifications
-
7+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, sales, or revenue-generating roles.

Experience holding your own portfolio while leading and developing a team.
-
Proven pitching and presentation skills.

Experience setting brand direction and overseeing marketing or communications functions.

Strong written communication skills.
-
Familiarity with health systems, corporate social responsibility, education, or youth-serving sectors.

Comfort building and operating in an entrepreneurial, fast-growth environment.
-
Proficiency with CRM platforms and a data-driven approach to pipeline management.

A genuine belief in the power of near-peer mentorship and a passion for health equity and youth development.
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in business, public health, communications, marketing, or a related field.
-
7+ years of relevant professional experience in business development, strategic partnerships, sales, or revenue leadership.

Experience managing direct reports and leading cross-functional teams.
-
Demonstrated success closing and growing partnerships, accounts, or revenue relationships.
-
Travel to HealthCorps hubs, partner sites, and sector events will be required.
Preferred
-
Experience in healthcare, health systems, corporate social responsibility, or youth-serving organizations.

Track record of building revenue through client, sponsor, or partner relationships.

Experience building advisory boards or community engagement structures.

Experience translating a commercial sales or business development skillset into a mission-driven environment.

Master’s degree or equivalent advanced training.
