Senior Associate, Marketing & Growth

Axios

• Own lifecycle marketing strategy across audience acquisition, registration, engagement, retention and repeat attendance for Axios Live Essential events. • Build automated, behavior-driven marketing journeys that personalize the attendee experience before, during and after every event. • Develop audience nurture programs for key audience segments including newsletter subscribers, previous attendees, sponsors, partners, Axios Pro members and new prospect audiences. • Create lifecycle strategies that increase repeat attendance, strengthen audience loyalty and improve long-term audience value. • Lead audience acquisition strategy for Axios local and national events. • Develop multi-channel marketing campaigns leveraging: • Email marketing • Paid social • Organic social • House advertisements • Newsletter promotions • Partner marketing • Referral campaigns • Manage paid advertising campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn and emerging platforms to efficiently grow registrations and qualified audiences. • Continuously optimize acquisition performance through audience targeting, creative testing and conversion analysis. • Own email marketing strategy and execution for Axios Live Essential events. • Develop campaign calendars, messaging strategies and promotional timelines aligned with event objectives. • Build targeted audience segments using engagement and behavioral data to improve personalization and conversion. • Draft, QA and deploy the complete event email lifecycle including: • Invitations • Speaker announcements • Registration confirmations • Reminder campaigns • Know Before You Go communications • Post-event follow-up • Thank-you campaigns • Partner with Editorial and Event Leads to develop messaging that reflects Axios' editorial voice while maximizing audience engagement. • Build and maintain audience profiles across industries, executive functions and geographic markets. • Lead audience segmentation efforts to identify high-value audiences and improve campaign targeting. • Analyze registration trends, attendance behavior and audience composition to inform future marketing strategies. • Develop recommendations that strengthen audience quality, diversity and long-term growth. • Build and maintain centralized marketing dashboards tracking campaign performance across Axios Live events. • Monitor registrations, attendance, engagement, conversion and marketing channel performance. • Translate data into actionable recommendations for stakeholders. • Design and execute A/B tests that improve registration conversion, email engagement and audience acquisition performance. • Develop recurring reporting that measures marketing effectiveness across campaigns, channels and event portfolios. • Serve as marketing lead for Axios Live essential events. • Partner closely with Events, Editorial, Partnerships, Design and Audience Development throughout campaign planning and execution. • Lead weekly marketing updates, sharing registration performance, audience insights, campaign priorities and recommendations with internal stakeholders. • Ensure audience-first thinking is embedded throughout the event planning process.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, CRM or event marketing.
  • Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns across email, paid media and owned channels.
  • Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing principles, customer journeys and marketing automation.
  • Experience developing audience segmentation and personalization strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience managing paid social campaigns with a focus on audience acquisition and conversion.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting campaign performance and audience data.
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Exceptional written communication skills and attention to detail.

Role Description HealthCorps is launching a new Growth & Strategic Partnerships Division, and the VP of Strategic Partnerships & Growth will be its architect, engine, and external face.
