• Oversee the daily operations of the EMI, ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently • Develop and implement operational strategies to support Kraken’s EMI growth and scalability • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness • Oversee all outsourcing to Kraken group service providers • Ensure that Kraken EMI operations comply with all EMI/PSR requirements and other relevant regulatory frameworks • Establish and maintain robust internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance and operational integrity • Collaborate with the regional compliance officer to prepare for regulatory audits, and to ensure accurate reporting • Identify, assess, and manage operational risks • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate operational risks, ensuring business continuity • Oversee crisis and incident management plans and procedures, ensuring that Kraken EMI is prepared for potential disruptions • Act as PIL's nominated senior executive accountable for outsourcing, in line with the CBI Cross-Industry Guidance on Outsourcing, including oversight of Payward Inc. (PINC) as PIL's material outsourced service provider; • Oversee ongoing monitoring and performance management of outsourced service providers, including PINC, against agreed service levels and risk indicators; • Ensure outsourcing arrangements comply with applicable CBI outsourcing requirements and, where relevant, DORA ICT third-party risk management requirements; • Act as the primary point of contact for outsourcing-related regulatory queries, including notifying the CBI of new or materially changed outsourcing arrangements as required; • Report on outsourcing risk, concentration, and performance to the CEO, Board, and relevant risk/outsourcing committees. • Have overall responsibility for the Fraud function running through PIL, including fraud prevention, detection, and case management outcomes; • Oversee the outsourced Fraud Operations service provided by Payward Inc. (PINC) as PIL's material outsourced service provider, monitoring performance against agreed SLAs/KPIs; • Ensure Fraud risk appetite, controls, and management information align with PIL's Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) and applicable CBI outsourcing/operational resilience requirements; • Escalate material fraud incidents, thematic trends, and control gaps to the CEO, Board, and relevant risk committees on a timely basis. • Oversee Kraken EMI’s technology infrastructure to ensure it meets operational needs and regulatory requirements • Work with technology leadership to ensure the security of Kraken EMIS’s data and systems • Promote technological innovation to enhance Kraken EMI’s operations and user experience • Ensure that Kraken EMI provides excellent, secure customer service and support • Implement mechanisms to gather and act on customer feedback to improve service delivery • Oversee processes for resolving customer complaints and disputes effectively • Ensure that the EMI has operational processes in place that ensure compliance with Consumer Protection Code 2025 • Support the General Manager, E-money and Payments Operations in developing and implementing the EMI’s strategic initiatives • Set operational goals that align with EMI and Kraken overall strategy • Monitor progress towards achieving strategic goals and make adjustments as needed • Collaborate with other senior executives to ensure cohesive and aligned operations; • Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

• Responsibility for PESL’s ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements including the VASP license • Develop and maintain CBI relationships built on trust • Oversee the implementation of new regulatory requirements as they arise including AMLR (Regulation (EU) 2024/1624), and manage horizon scanning • Work closely with the CCO, the PESL CEO and colleagues on initiatives to ensure close alignment on products, services and risk management • Partner with the business to bring to market products and services quickly • Implement operational efficiencies deploying an automate everything mindset • Provide compliance advisory support and guidance to the PESL Board on new and existing regulations, operational performance, and compliance with policies and procedures • Oversee the Compliance Monitoring Programme • Develop, implement and operationalise policies and procedures to comply with MiCA, AML and other relevant regulations • Prepare license application documents to extend products and services • Act as a trusted partner to Product, Design, Engineering and other teams to assist them to structure and launch products and services that advance Payward’s business in compliance with regulatory requirements • Review product risk assessments, marketing materials, complaints and other matters for regulatory compliance • Develop and deliver compliance training programs specific to Irish/EU and future regulatory requirements, ensuring employees are knowledgeable and aware of their obligations, while also monitoring their compliance • Foster a culture of compliance awareness and accountability through regular communication and training initiatives

• Lead and maintain the firm’s AML/CFT compliance framework in line with applicable legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements • Act as the senior accountable officer for AML/CFT compliance governance, oversight, and escalation • Develop, implement, and periodically review AML/CFT policies, standards, procedures, and controls • Oversee the firm’s enterprise-wide AML/CFT risk assessment and ensure that risks are identified, assessed, mitigated, and reported appropriately • Design, implement and oversee policies, procedures and controls for AMLR (Regulation (EU) 2024/1624) compliance • Partner with the business to bring to market products and services quickly • Implement operational efficiencies deploying an automate everything mindset • Ensure robust controls are in place for customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence, ongoing monitoring, screening, transaction monitoring, and suspicious activity escalation. • Oversee the firm’s suspicious transaction/reporting processes, including internal escalation, external reporting, and maintenance of appropriate records • Provide oversight of sanctions compliance controls, including screening governance, escalation processes, and regulatory developments, where applicable • Advise senior management and the board on AML/CFT matters, emerging risks, regulatory expectations, and control enhancements • Prepare and deliver regular AML/CFT management information, reporting, and risk updates to relevant governance forums, senior management, and the board • Act as the principal point of contact for the Central Bank of Ireland and other relevant authorities on AML/CFT matters • Ensure regulatory findings, audit issues, compliance reviews, and internal control gaps are remediated in a timely and effective manner • Oversee AML/CFT training and awareness programs to ensure staff understand their obligations and relevant risk indicators • Work closely with Compliance, Legal, Risk, Operations, Product, Customer Engagement, and technology teams to embed AML/CFT requirements into business processes, systems, and change initiatives • Support new product, jurisdiction, customer segment, and outsourcing assessments to ensure AML/CFT risks are appropriately considered before launch or implementation. • Maintain appropriate oversight of third parties and outsourced service providers performing AML/CFT-related activities on behalf of the firm • Promote a strong culture of financial crime compliance, accountability, and ethical conduct across the organization.

• Develop and implement the Kraken CASP Broker/Custodian’s strategic vision and business plan; • Identify new business opportunities, ensuring that Kraken remains competitive in the crypto-asset market; • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement; • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the CASP Broker/Custodian, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness; • Manage the Kraken CASP Broker/Custodian senior leadership team, ensuring alignment with Kraken’s company goals and regulatory requirements; • Develop and monitor performance metrics to assess operational success; • Ensure that the Kraken CASP Broker/Custodian complies with all aspects of MiCA • Liaise with regulatory bodies, including the Central Bank of Ireland and the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) • Implement robust compliance and risk management frameworks; • Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting; • Ensure financial operations comply with relevant laws and regulations; • Report to the board of directors on financial status and any strategic initiatives; • Maintain strong relationships and transparent communication with key internal and external stakeholders; • Represent the Kraken CASP Broker/Custodian at industry events, conferences, and in public forums; • Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with Kraken CASP Broker/Custodian’s operations; • Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity; • Ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) regulations; • Ensure effective corporate governance practices are in place; • Work closely with the board of directors to develop and implement governance policies; • Ensure the board of directors is regularly informed about Kraken CASP Broker/Custodian’s performance and strategic direction; • Attract, retain, and develop top talent to build a high-performing team; • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture; • Oversee executive compensation and development programs.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance monitoring and testing programme to assess the institution's adherence to internal policies and external regulations • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance • Provide compliance advisory support and guidance to the Regional Operations Business Leadership team on new and existing regulations and rules, best practices and compliance with internal procedures and directives • Develop, implement and operationalise policies and procedures required to be compliant with all applicable regulations, including AML/CFT • Oversee the implementation of new regulatory requirements as they arise and assisting with horizon scanning (in close cooperation with colleagues from the Strategy and Regulatory teams) • Work closely with the COO and the CEO Initiatives to ensure close alignment and operational compliance efficiencies for regional group entities are implemented • Support the Kraken Product Team for any new product roll out in the region • Develop and deliver compliance training programs specific to Existing Irish/EU and future regulatory requirements, ensuring employees are knowledgeable and aware of their obligations • Oversight of regulatory reporting requirements • Ensure marketing material adheres to local requirements • Foster a culture of compliance awareness and accountability through regular communication and training initiatives

• Own and evolve our Cloudflare edge configuration across Accounts and Zones • Design and maintain DNS architecture in Cloudflare • Implement and operate mTLS with Authenticated Origin Pulls • Build and support self-service automation for edge configuration using Terraform • Develop and operate solutions using Cloudflare Workers and R2 Storage • Own the ingress and reverse-proxy layer • Design and manage reverse proxy topologies • Build, operate, and improve Kubernetes ingress controllers • Operate and extend service mesh capabilities • Partner with Security to defend against OWASP-class attack vectors • Implement robust monitoring and alerting for edge, DNS, and ingress health • Lead incident response for edge/ingress-related incidents
