Block builds simple, powerful tools that make progress towards an economy that’s truly open to all.
Role Description We are looking for a Principal Designer to join Block's Brand Creative team. This is a hands-on role for a designer with exceptional taste, strong brand instincts, and the ability to think in systems. Someone who can make beautiful work, but also help define how that work scales. Someone who can move a project forward without waiting to be told what to do. Someone proactive, self-sufficient, curious, and energized by new tools. On the Block team, you will work across Cash App, Square, TIDAL, and emerging brands, helping connect and strengthen how our ecosystem shows up in the world. We are rethinking what design can be at Block. We see design as a more multidisciplinary practice, one that brings together brand, product, systems, storytelling, technology, culture, and craft. We want to make work that is not only useful and beautifully made, but groundbreaking. Work that pushes our brands forward and helps set a higher bar for design and creativity in the world. You will help shape the visual expression of the Block brand across digital, web, campaign, social, experiential, and interactive work. You will partner closely with creative directors, marketers, product teams, engineers, and other designers to create work that is clear, memorable, useful, and deeply considered. This is not a role for someone who only wants to direct from the sidelines. We are looking for a maker. Someone who still loves the details: the typography, the grid, the motion, the prototype, the final 5% that makes something feel excellent. You will set a high bar for craft, help evolve our brand systems, mentor other designers, and explore how AI and emerging creative tools can help us make more ambitious, more effective, and more imaginative work. You Will - Create thoughtful, polished, visually compelling brand design across web, campaign, social, experiential, interactive, and digital channels. - Lead complex creative projects from early concept through high-fidelity execution, bringing clarity and momentum even when the path is ambiguous. - Set and raise the visual quality bar for Block's brand work, helping define what great looks like across teams and touchpoints. - Think in systems, not just single executions. You will help evolve the way our brand scales across products, channels, campaigns, and experiences. - Use AI and emerging creative tools as part of your process, not as a shortcut, but as a way to explore faster, push further, and make stronger work. - Partner with creative, marketing, product, engineering, and leadership teams to connect brand expression to business and customer needs. - Bring strong opinions, but stay open. You will help create a culture of critique, trust, and better ideas. - Mentor and support other designers by giving clear, useful feedback and sharing how you think, make, and solve problems. - Look for ways to improve how the team works, whether through better systems, sharper standards, smarter tools, or more effective creative processes. - Help push the Block brand forward with work that feels distinctive, intentional, and built to last. Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in visual design, brand design, graphic design, or a related creative discipline. - A portfolio that shows exceptional visual craft, including strong typography, composition, color, layout, and attention to detail. - Deep experience creating brand work for digital, web, interactive, motion, campaign, and other modern channels. - A strong systems mindset. You understand how to create flexible visual systems that bring consistency without making everything feel the same. - Experience leading complex projects with independence, confidence, and good judgment. - A high level of personal accountability. You are proactive, organized, and able to drive work forward without a lot of hand-holding. - Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build trust with cross-functional partners. - Experience mentoring designers and helping teams improve their craft. - Fluency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern design workflows. - Curiosity and practical experience with AI tools, generative design, prototyping tools, or other emerging creative technology. - A continued love of making. You still design, still experiment, and still care deeply about the final result. - Bonus skills may include motion design, animation, 3D, creative coding, illustration, interactive prototyping, or video. Application Guidelines To be considered, please submit a link to your portfolio. Include the password if needed. Candidates may submit up to 9 active applications within a 60-day period. Reapplications to the same role are accepted 90 days after a previous application has been reviewed. Benefits - Remote work - Medical insurance - Flexible time off - Retirement savings plans - Modern family planning

Role Description You will own ThinkingAI's brand from the ground up — visual identity, voice, and every external surface where the company shows up. This is a builder role: you'll define what the brand looks, feels, and sounds like, then execute the full spectrum of design work that brings it to life across marketing, sales, product marketing, and events. You will be the first dedicated brand hire and the design conscience of the company. What You'll Do - Brand strategy & identity: - Define and document our brand platform: positioning expression, visual identity system (logo system, type, color, motion, illustration, iconography, photography direction), and verbal identity (voice, tone, messaging hierarchy). - Build the brand book and component library that scales. - Website: - Own the design of thinkingai.io end-to-end — IA, page design, component system, landing pages for launches and verticals. - Partner with engineering on implementation. - Marketing & sales collateral: - Design pitch decks, one-pagers, solution briefs, customer case studies, ABM assets, sales enablement materials, and executive-ready exec briefings. - Content & campaigns: - Art-direct and produce visuals for blog, social (LinkedIn-first), launch campaigns, webinars, and email. - Build templates that let the team move fast without losing consistency. - Events & physical brand: - Design booth experiences, signage, swag, and on-site collateral for conferences (AI Engineer Summit, RSA, GTC, Mobile Growth Summit, etc.) and customer events. - Product marketing surfaces: - Partner with PMM on launch design — feature pages, demo assets, screenshots, diagrams that explain agentic concepts clearly to enterprise buyers. - Vendor & contractor management: - Scope and direct external illustrators, motion designers, photographers, and agencies when needed. Qualifications - 4–7 years of brand and visual design experience, ideally including time inside an AI, developer-tools, or B2B enterprise SaaS company. - A portfolio that shows both: - Systems thinking (identity systems, design systems, scalable templates) - Craft (typography, layout, motion, the polish details) - Strong opinions on how a technical, infrastructure-flavored AI brand should look and feel — and the taste to keep it out of the generic "blue gradient + abstract neural network" trap. - Fluency across the stack: Figma (required), Adobe CC, basic motion (After Effects / Rive / Lottie), Webflow or Framer a plus. - Comfort working closely with founders and engineers, translating abstract product concepts (agents, MCP, on-prem deployment) into clear, compelling visuals. - Bonus: experience with technical illustration / architecture diagrams, motion design, or front-end (HTML/CSS) literacy. Compensation - Base salary: $165,000 – $195,000 - Performance bonus: 15% of base, tied to brand launch milestones and marketing OKRs - Total cash compensation: ~$190,000 – $224,000 Benefits - Medical / dental / vision (100% employee premium) - 401(k) - 10 days PTO with ability to request more

Brand Design Lead Marketing Remote (USA) PandaDoc's Brand Studio is looking for a Brand Design Lead to join our team of creatives. We're evolving how PandaDoc shows up in the world — bolder, more cinematic, more human — and this role is central to making that real. You'll own the visual execution of our brand across key brand moments: out-of-home, events, integrated campaigns, and the big creative swings that define how the market sees us. This is a senior IC role. You'll concept, design, and art direct across a broad range of channels and mediums — bringing sharp creative thinking to brand campaigns while staying hands-on with execution. You're the kind of designer who can set the visual direction for a campaign and then see it through to final delivery. You're also fluent in AI-powered design tools and excited about building processes that increase creative velocity, volume, and quality without sacrificing craft. You've designed across a broad spectrum of channels, mediums, and placements — OOH, digital, events, paid social, and beyond — and you know how to flex your thinking for each one. You'll work as a peer to other Brand Studio leads, collaborating closely on visual identity, campaign creative, and cross-functional projects — reporting directly to the Creative Director on the Brand Studio team, which sits within Corporate Marketing. In this role, you will: - Lead brand campaigns: Own the visual direction for our brand campaigns — integrated campaigns, out-of-home, events, experiential activations, and beyond — from brief through final delivery. You concept, design, and set the visual creative across a broad range of channels and mediums. You understand how a brand idea lives on a billboard, a trade show floor, and a paid social feed — and what each one needs to land. - Collaborates across disciples: Partner with copywriters, video and motion creatives, and marketing stakeholders to bring integrated ideas to life. You give direction as clearly as you take it. - Contribute to visual identity: Partner with Brand Studio leadership on the evolution of PandaDoc's visual identity — typography, color, composition, photography direction, and design system guardrails. You're a steward of the brand, not just an executor of it. - Maintain quality and consistency: Review brand creative across the team and ensure everything going out the door reflects the standard we're building toward. - Build AI-powered design processes: Identify and implement AI tools that increase design output and creative velocity — from automating repetitive production tasks to exploring generative tools that accelerate concepting and iteration. You're not replacing craft with AI; you're using it to protect time for the work that actually requires it. About you: - You embody our EPIC values: you push for Excellence in craft and concept, find Purpose in building a brand people recognize and trust, embrace Innovation by bringing unexpected creative thinking to every brief, and build Collaboration across Brand Studio, Marketing, and beyond. - You'll report into the Creative Director on the Brand Studio team, which sits within Corporate Marketing. - You lead with ideas. High caliber design matters, but concepting is where you start. Your portfolio shows original thinking across channels, not just polished production. - You're fluent in campaign creative. You know how an idea lives across OOH, digital, social, and events — and you know where each medium needs something different. - You're comfortable with ambiguity. Brand is evolving here, and you're energized by that — not waiting for a complete style guide before you do good work. - You care about the details without losing the big picture. Kerning matters. So does whether the concept actually lands. - You give and receive creative feedback well — and you don't stop there. You use performance data, campaign learnings, and post-mortems to understand what's working and bring that thinking back into the next brief. Qualifications: - 6+ years of brand or visual design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating strong campaign concepting and execution - Proven experience designing across a broad range of channels and placements — print media, OOH, digital, events, paid social, brand campaigns, and more. You're not a specialist in one format; you're fluent across all of them. - Strong visual sensibility — you can direct photography, establish tone, and give feedback that makes work sharper - Expertise in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and the broader Adobe Creative Suite - Expertise with design systems and brand governance — you've helped evolve a visual identity, not just execute within one - Proficiency in AI design tools and the ability to apply them to real production workflows — accelerating output without compromising craft - Proficiency in digital user experiences — landing pages, web, email - Experience working in-house at a B2B SaaS or tech company (agency experience considered with strong brand portfolio) - Bonus: Illustration skills Why PandaDoc?
