Role Description
We are seeking a talented Senior Marketing Specialist with a strong focus on graphic design to join our creative team. You will play a crucial role in developing and executing visually compelling marketing materials that tell our brand’s story. You will collaborate with various teams to create engaging content that resonates with our target audience and drives our marketing goals. This position is responsible for ideation after the creative brief or design direction has been established. You must be able to conduct ideation independently and proactively seek design ideas from other B2B companies, as well as be aware of competitive design direction. The position is based in South Africa but is remote, requiring reliable, strong internet. Daily marketing team meetings via Zoom are mandatory. Responsibilities also include maintaining the company brand and managing the production process of marketing materials. You will support the Director of Marketing with general marketing and promotional assignments.
Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design:
Create visually appealing graphics for digital and print media, including social media posts, website banners, email campaigns, brochures, and advertisements.

Layout:
Design and optimize layouts for various marketing materials, ensuring a cohesive and professional look across all platforms.

Storytelling:
Develop and convey compelling stories through creative visuals that effectively communicate our brand message and engage our audience.

PowerPoint:
Design and enhance PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use, ensuring they are visually engaging and aligned with our brand guidelines.

Adobe Creative Suite:
Utilize the full set of Adobe Creative Suite tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) to produce high-quality designs and graphics.

Collaboration:
Work directly with employees throughout the organization and external agencies to design, develop, and implement creative projects ranging from logos and print materials to web graphics, corporate identity packages, and PowerPoint templates and presentations.

Print Management:
Manage print projects with outside vendors, including obtaining quotes, selecting and approving paper and finishes, receiving invoices, and managing overall project timelines.

Brand Strengthening:
Strengthen the company’s brand portfolio with consistent graphics for all segments and brand-specific materials. Provide creative design alternatives and evolutions of current designs.

Brand Guidelines:
Influence modifications or evolutions to the World Kinect brand guidelines without developing new policy. Maintain up-to-date marks on all brand logos and update the company’s brand portfolio guidelines.

Digital Asset Management:
Build and maintain a digital asset library of collateral, assets, and materials to support the company’s marketing and communication activities in accordance with World Kinect brand guidelines.

Project Leadership:
Exhibit excellent project leadership and interpersonal skills without supervising others.
Qualifications

4+ Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills in graphics, layout, and storytelling.

Proficiency in PowerPoint and the ability to create visually appealing presentations.

Strong working knowledge and comfort using the full set of Adobe Creative Suite tools, specifically Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro, as well as Figma, Canva, and related programs.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.

Strong attention to detail, keen eye for aesthetics, excellent communication & collaboration skills.

Strong understanding of the printing process & packaging of files for print.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, or a related field.

4+ years’ experience in a marketing role with a focus on graphic design and layout.

Familiarity with digital marketing trends and best practices.

Experience with B2B marketing.

Infrequent travel of short to moderate duration; typically travel is to planned events or meetings.
