Role Description Nuby is seeking a creative and innovative Toy Designer to join our Product Development team in Monroe, Louisiana. The Toy Designer will be responsible for developing original concepts for infant and toddler toys that are visually appealing, developmentally appropriate, safe, and manufacturable. This role works closely with Product Development, Engineering, Marketing, Packaging, Quality Assurance, and overseas manufacturing partners to bring new ideas from concept through production. - Design innovative toys and developmental products for infants and toddlers. - Generate original concepts through sketches, renderings, digital illustrations, and 3D models. - Research consumer trends, toy industry innovations, colors, textures, and materials. - Create mood boards, concept presentations, and product proposals. - Develop products that support sensory, cognitive, and motor skill development. - Collaborate with Engineering to ensure products meet manufacturing and safety requirements. - Work with Packaging and Marketing teams to maintain consistent product branding. - Review prototypes and recommend design improvements. - Evaluate samples and approve colors, textures, graphics, and materials. - Participate in brainstorming sessions for new product lines and seasonal collections. - Maintain product documentation throughout the development process. - Communicate with overseas factories regarding product revisions and prototype feedback. - Ensure all designs comply with applicable safety regulations, including ASTM, CPSIA, and international toy safety standards. - Assist with competitive product analysis and market research. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Toy Design, Graphic Design, or a related field. - 2+ years of product or toy design experience preferred. - Experience designing children's products or consumer products is highly preferred. - Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, product development, and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop). - Experience with SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360, or other 3D CAD software preferred. - Strong hand sketching and concept development abilities. - Understanding of plastics, injection molding, silicone products, and manufacturing processes is preferred. - Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate product design is a plus. - Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. Role Description The Instructional Designer, Contractor position, will have a solid background in both instructional design and technical writing, with the ability to create engaging and effective learning materials and documentation. This is a 3-6 months contract role and includes: Responsibilities: - Instructional design: - Apply adult learning and instructional design theories, practices, and methods to create effective learning products that meet project learning objectives and stakeholder expectations. - Ensure learning products meet accessibility standards. - Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify learner-critical knowledge, skills, and behavior. - Collaborate with Online Development to design effective and aligned online learning activities. - Develop storyboards and instructional scripts. - Perform quality control checks on deliverables. - Oversee version control, project tracking boards, and documentation for all curriculum assets. - Technical writing: - Re-work technical and complex content into accessible, engaging learning. - Collaborate with SMEs to validate accuracy. - Apply departmental editing and style guide practices. - Liaise with editors. - Analysis/Research: - Work closely with the Technical Content Supervisor to design the course vision. - Perform preliminary learner profiles and client needs analyses. - Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on areas for improvement and identifying possible content gaps. - Determine content requirements for new courses where content does not already exist. - Other duties as assigned. • Lead prompt framework design and strategy - defining end-to-end architecture, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment playbooks for distributed teams. • Design complex, high-impact prompt systems including multi-agent and chain-of-thought architectures for resume builder flows across global product lines. • Partner with Engineering, Product, and Data to align prompt strategies with model selection, API cost reduction, performance budgets, and roadmaps. • Architect evaluation frameworks and safety guardrails to benchmark LLM outputs globally, minimizing hallucination, bias, and AI-sounding content. • Act as the cross-functional prompt design resource; translating requirements from Content, Engineering, Data, Product, and portal teams into production-grade implementations. • Spearhead R&D into emerging AI paradigms, evaluate new models and tooling, and provide clear adoption recommendations. • Mentor the prompt management team and contribute to building the function - structures, processes, documentation, and quality standards.
