Teamcenter Functional Architect

• Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and the Teamcenter end user community at large. • Lead functional solution architecture and PLM strategy discussions, positioning Siemens Xcelerator solutions. • Provide demos of functionality and evangelize customer capability that has been built in the system to potential new stakeholders. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand, guide, and capture business requirements. • Own the translation of business requirements into scalable Teamcenter solution designs, including data models, workflows, lifecycle processes, and system integrations. • Evaluate business/technical requirements for Teamcenter requested functionality and provide level of effort estimation to support sprint planning and costing. • Design end-to-end business processes that leverage the Siemens Xcelerator ecosystem, integrating Teamcenter with enterprise systems such as ERP, MES, ALM, and supply chain platforms. • Conduct comprehensive testing, including unit, integration, and system testing ensuring application quality and functionality stay in spec. • Assist development teams in diagnosing and resolving complex configuration or customization issues. • Evangelize best practices for PLM usage and digital engineering processes, helping organizations maximize the value of Teamcenter. • Provide training and support to end-users on Teamcenter functionality and best practices.

Job Requirements

  • Currently hold or able to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
  • Currently hold Siemens certifications for Teamcenter.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or other Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience working with Siemens Teamcenter PLM
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in business process architecture, PLM consulting, or functional solution design.
  • Experience collaborating with the Siemens Technical Support & Siemens Government Technologies organizations.
  • Strong understanding of Teamcenter configuration and administration, including workflows, lifecycle management, and security models.
  • Strong programming skills leveraging Java, JSP, J2EE, XML, JSON, and HTML5.
  • Experience developing Teamcenter Active Workspace or Rich Client extensions.
  • Experience supporting integration between Teamcenter and external enterprise systems.
  • Experience leading data migration and system transition initiatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong documentation and solution architecture skills.
