Role Description
Coursera is seeking a strategic Senior Human Resources Business Partner to support the successful execution of key business priorities during a critical period of organizational integration and transformation.
In this role, you will partner closely with business leaders to drive organizational effectiveness, operating model implementation, and cross-functional alignment across the organization. You will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, ensuring people, processes, and organizational structures are aligned to support growth, efficiency, and realization of strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, change management expertise, and experience leading organizations through periods of transformation, integration, and organizational change.
Responsibilities

Partner with senior leaders to drive organizational integration, transformation initiatives, and operating model implementation.

Lead people-related aspects of organizational change, including organizational design, workforce planning, change management, and team effectiveness.

Identify organizational risks, execution gaps, and capability needs, and develop solutions that improve business performance and scalability.

Drive cross-functional alignment and collaboration to ensure successful execution of strategic priorities and organizational initiatives.

Coach leaders through periods of change, helping them effectively manage communication, employee engagement, performance, and organizational effectiveness.

Partner with People Team Centers of Excellence to support talent planning, succession planning, compensation, employee engagement, and leadership development initiatives.

Use people analytics and organizational insights to inform decision-making, measure progress, and drive continuous improvement.

Champion Coursera's culture and values while helping leaders navigate ambiguity and organizational complexity.
Qualifications

10+ years of Human Resources experience, including experience as an HR Business Partner supporting senior leaders.

Experience supporting large-scale organizational transformation, integration, restructuring, or operating model changes.

Strong change management, organizational design, and workforce planning capabilities.

Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across complex organizations.

Experience using data and insights to drive business and people decisions.

Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting post-merger integration or organizational consolidation efforts.

Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced, or rapidly evolving environments.
