• Own end-to-end patching lifecycle across RMM/MDM (Addigy/JAMF/Intune) driven environments for Windows Servers, Windows Workstations and macOS endpoints • Drive patch compliance SLAs: Monthly remediation of security and critical updates • Quarterly execution of major OS upgrades • Establish and execute patch cadences aligned with Risk severity (CVSS prioritization) and Business impact windows • Continuously monitor, report, and improve compliance posture across all managed environments • Identify and remediate patch failures, drift, and systemic compliance gaps in a timely manner • Plan and execute OS upgrades (Windows & macOS), maintain minimal disruption through controlled rollout strategies (rings, phased deployment) and ensure rollback strategies are defined and validated • Learn and support adjacent service areas including but not limited to: Microsoft 365 administration (basic support across Exchange, Sharepoint, One-Drive, Teams workloads, identity, device posture) • Azure platform operations (VM Administration, Configuration and patching, other baseline services) • End-user issue resolution (experience-focused troubleshooting) • Backup monitoring and remediation (job failures, restore validation) • Perform other routine monthly, quarterly system and service health checks (including but not limited to AD/DNS, M365, Backups (Saas & BaaS), Physical Servers and related workloads) • Utilize patching and endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune, Jamf, N-able / RMM tools, SCCM / Endpoint Manager • Drive automation of Patch deployment, Compliance reporting, Failure remediation workflows • Act as a proactive interface between engineering and customer stakeholders by partnering with TAM/CSM to drive remediation accountability within the customer organization and roll up updates and reports across the various proactive system and service health checks
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field, or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure support and management of core technology stack of Servers and Workstations
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience supporting Windows Server and Windows Workstation environments
- Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and version upgrades
- Knowledge of patch deployment, compliance monitoring, and vulnerability remediation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and cloud concepts
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration
- Basic understanding of virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware
- Experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
