Role Description Zipdev connects companies across the U.S. and Canada with top remote talent throughout Latin America. As a fast-growing, bootstrapped company, we are looking for a highly capable and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support our accounting operations, financial reporting, and forecasting processes. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong accounting fundamentals with financial analysis skills and enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting strategic decision-making through reporting and forecasting, and ensuring operational excellence across accounting and payroll processes. Responsibilities - Financial Reporting & Forecasting - Maintain and update company cash flow forecasts and financial models on a weekly basis - Track and report key business metrics including LTV, CAC, Gross Margin per placement, and Net Revenue Retention - Prepare monthly financial reports including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements - Extract and analyze data from QuickBooks Online and HubSpot to maintain accurate financial dashboards - Accounting Operations - Own the full Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes - Manage invoicing and proactively follow up on overdue accounts to maintain healthy cash flow - Execute accurate and timely month-end close processes - Ensure transactions are properly coded, reconciled, and maintained within QuickBooks Online - Payroll Administration - Support and manage cross-border payroll operations for 150+ employees and contractors across Latin America - Ensure timely and accurate payments across multiple currencies and payment platforms - Maintain payroll accuracy and support related financial reconciliations Qualifications - 4–7 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial reporting - Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis - Experience working in B2B services, SaaS, staffing, or recruiting industries - Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets, including financial modeling and large datasets - Strong experience with QuickBooks Online - Experience handling cross-border payments and payroll processes in LATAM - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Nice to Have - Experience working in a high-growth startup or bootstrapped company - Experience building or improving financial dashboards and reporting processes - Familiarity with SaaS metrics and operational finance KPIs - Experience supporting executive leadership with financial insights and forecasting Benefits - Work remotely Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week (no weekends) - Vacation: 10 business days a year - Holidays: 5 National Holidays a year - Company Holidays: 5 Company Holidays a year (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Zipdev Day) - Parental Leave - Health Care Reimbursement - Active Lifestyle Reimbursement - Quarterly Home Office Reimbursement - Payroll Deduction Purchase Plans - Longevity Bonus - Continuous Learning Bonus - Access to Training and Professional Development Platforms
