• Partners with internal stakeholders in conducting research or accident investigations to sustain claims and underwriting initiatives. • Identifies and quantifies Workers’ Compensation (WC), Commercial Property and/or Liability risks for accounts. • Schedules company surveys and account service plans within standard operating protocols to identify risk factors. • Mitigates risk by initiating and implementing complex corrective action recommendations and thorough execution of formal service plans. • Collaborates with underwriting and claims teams to develop, draft and present large account service proposals. • Performs accident investigations as needed in support of claims and underwriting. • Delivers risk management services to customers to mitigate risk, identify exposures and/or mitigate claim costs. • Identifies key risks and mitigating factors such workflow, values, legal, ownership structure, professional reputation, customer base or industry segments including assessing business operations risks and analyzing business or company financial data. • Recommends methods to control or reduce risk based on assessment to customer base. • Documents and ensures communication of key risks with the preparation of financial documents, reports, or data modeling. • Acts as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to retain and augment industry knowledge and regulations surrounding risk management assignments. • Provides training for clients on risk identification, quantification, and control. • Consults with clients to answer queries and provide hands on assistance for subjects such as exposure, market scenarios or value-at-risk calculations to educate/assist clients on the varied topics regarding risk management. • Consults with underwriting to answer questions and provide expertise associated with Workers Compensation and Commercial Package Insurance lines.

• Manages and reserves all aspects of an assigned claims inventory to an equitable conclusion • Communicates with all relevant parties to the claim including policyholders, agents, attorneys, witnesses or public adjusters to gather information • Investigates claims to determine exposure, works with appropriate experts and makes strategic recommendations • Analyzes new and transferred losses to design a plan of action in the management of the claim • Maintains a good diary system to ensure timely resolution of claims and compliance with state regulations • Ensures accuracy of data in claims system for regulatory reporting • Directs defense counsel through the litigation process in accordance with Company litigation guidelines

• Leads enterprise data operations and platform support functions • Oversees operational support and administration of ICW Group’s enterprise data platform • Manages operational activities related to data ingestion, transformation orchestration, monitoring, reconciliation, issue resolution and production support • Establishes operational processes, standards, runbooks, SLAs and support procedures for enterprise data services and platforms • Ensures high availability, reliability, scalability and performance optimization of enterprise data platforms and pipelines • Leads production support activities, root cause analysis, incident management, escalation management and problem resolution for data-related issues • Oversees operational readiness and transition-to-support activities for new data products, integrations and platform enhancements • Partners with Data Engineering teams to ensure production deployments follow operational best practices and governance standards

Title: QA Engineer - AI and ML Location: CA-San Diego Job Description: PURPOSE OF JOB The QA Engineer for AI and ML Platforms establishes and evolves quality engineering practices for cloud-native and AI/ML platform solutions, ensuring reliability, scalability, and reproducibility across data, model, and infrastructure layers. The position serves as a key contributor in defining test strategies for distributed systems, data pipelines, and machine learning workflows within AWS and Snowflake environments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Executes tasks that span across multiple systems/processes for one or more business projects/areas. - Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business and IT systems and user needs to determine the best test approach. - Estimates, prioritizes, plans, and coordinates test activities. - Identifies, records, thoroughly documents, and tracks bugs. - Partners with the Development team to perform test via standards based on APIs for communicating between applications. - Tracks quality assurance metrics including reporting on pre-defined KPI, defect densities, and open defects counts. - Influences quality engineering best practices within the scrum team. - Executes and maintains automated regression test suites using open source tools. - Follows standards in accordance with company policy and regulation (MAR, HIPAA, ISO 2700, ISO 27001, etc.). - Recommends process improvement and strengthens the quality standards and implements those improvements on approval. - Audits test deliverables to ensure they meet standards and takes corrective action to mitigate variances. - Leads the QA efforts for large initiatives and collaborates closely with external vendor partners (offshore, nearshore) for work assignments, status calls, working sessions, triage calls etc. Develops detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. - Develops, publishes, and implements test strategy, test plans, and test scripts. - Develops and applies testing processes to new and existing products to meet stakeholders needs. - Develops and maintains automated test harnesses and libraries. - Develops and maintains testing standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistent testing procedures. - Creates tests that cover functionality, load, security, etc. at the API and GUI levels. - Identifies risks and develops mitigation strategies. Contributes hands-on to debugging and root cause analysis across application, data, and platform layers. - Leads validation of non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, reliability, and resiliency of AI and ML platforms. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This role does not have direct reports but may mentor and/or train less experienced team members. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university IN Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum 4 years of related experience. Minimum 5 years of IT and/or relevant business experience. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Certificated Software Test Engineer (CSTE) or International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB) preferred. CP-SAT Selenium Automation Testing certification preferred. Foundation level API certification preferred.
