We are looking for someone with a passion for the construction industry, and knowledge of the GPS and total station technologies being used on today’s jobsites. In this role, you will be utilizing the latest software to produce 3D surface models for GPS machine control and construction layout equipment. Our modelers bridge the gap between design and construction to provide our clients the data they need to get the best productivity out of their technology. Tri-Point field crews work with the client to obtain site data needed for constructing the three-dimensional surface model. Modelers have direct interaction with clients as needed. The Modeler reviews client-provided CAD files and plans to ensure all necessary data is available and communicates any omissions. Modelers develop layout maps and 3D surface models to meet the client’s requirements. - Most projects are fast-paced and will need to be turned around in about 1-2 weeks. - Modelers will be working on concurrent project assignments during peak times.
