Role Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant with strong cross-functional expertise across Production Planning (PP), Plant Maintenance (PM), and Quality Management (QM) modules. This role is primarily focused on coordinating and executing testing activities during system migrations, while also providing functional support to resolve issues across all three modules as they arise.
This is a collaborative, detail-oriented role that sits at the intersection of functional knowledge, testing discipline, and day-to-day operational support. The ideal candidate is someone who understands end-to-end manufacturing and plant operations processes, communicates effectively with both business users and technical teams, and can manage multiple priorities in a structured and methodical manner.

Act as the central point of coordination for all testing activities related to system migrations across PP, PM, and QM modules

Plan, organize, and manage the end-to-end testing lifecycle, including:

Develop and maintain test plans, test scripts, and test cases aligned with business processes across PP, PM, and QM

Work closely with business users, key users, and process owners to ensure test scenarios reflect real-world operations

Coordinate test execution schedules, track progress, and ensure timely completion within migration project timelines

Log, track, and manage defects and issues identified during testing using ITSM or project management tools (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow, HP ALM, or equivalent)

Facilitate defect triage meetings with functional and technical teams to prioritize and resolve testing issues

Ensure test sign-off is obtained from relevant business stakeholders before migration go-live

Prepare and distribute testing status reports to project managers and stakeholders on a regular basis

Maintain a traceability matrix to ensure all business requirements and process scenarios are covered by test cases

Support data migration testing - validate that migrated master data and transactional data are accurate and complete across PP, PM, and QM

Coordinate cutover testing and mock runs, ensuring readiness for go-live

Respond to and resolve functional incidents and service requests across PP, PM, and QM within agreed SLA timelines

Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and recommend process or configuration improvements

Support configuration changes in the SAP system following change management procedures

Assist in master data cleansing and validation activities as part of migration preparation

Create and maintain functional documentation including process flows, configuration guides, and user manuals

Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and training for business users and key users as needed

Liaise with SAP ABAP/technical teams to raise and validate development requirements (RICEF objects) related to PP, PM, and QM
Qualifications

Experience with SAP PP, PM, and QM modules
