• Lead detailed project initiation, planning, coordination, and delivery for SAP S4 platform and infrastructure initiatives, owning the non‑integrated master schedule and all supporting detailed task plans. • Break down scope into detailed technical tasks, drive prioritization and sequencing, and ensure all work items are ready for execution across platform and infrastructure teams. • Manage cross-functional technical project teams, coordinating infrastructure builds, SAP environment tasks, integrations, and configuration activities at a high level of detail. • Implement and facilitate lean-agile practices to support flow-based delivery, taking on Scrum Master or Product Owner responsibilities as needed to structure and manage detailed work execution. • Develop, maintain, and continuously refine detailed project schedules, RAID logs, dependency maps, and work trackers to ensure disciplined, predictable delivery. • Identify, engage, and manage technical, business, and supplier resources, including coaching/mentoring team members to ensure quality and clarity in task execution. • Actively manage risks, issues, and detailed task interdependencies, including alignment of vendor and internal team activities to the critical path. • Provide accurate and timely communication through project reviews, status updates, and steering committee presentations, ensuring visibility into detailed progress, blockers, and resource needs. • Lead change management and project communication efforts in alignment with Enterprise Infrastructure PMO standards, supporting team readiness and adoption. • Demonstrated experience working within matrixed organizational structures and partnering closely with Systems Integrators (SIs) to drive coordinated delivery. • Document and share lessons learned, contributing to continuous improvement across the SAP platform program and PM community. • Ability to travel 15-20% of the time to major US sites.
Job Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
- Technical project management experience supporting SAP S4 transformations including ownership of schedules, tasks, progress, governance, deployment and execution.
- Experience with core infrastructure technologies (Networking, VCAP, Firewalls, Cloud) and partnering with technical delivery teams to implement architectures and integrations.
- Management of multiple effective concurrent technical projects within phase‑gate or similar governance frameworks.
- Certification in PMP and/or Agile Scrum Master
