Role Description We are seeking for a highly motivated and experienced Technical Project Manager who can take ownership of complex technical initiatives and drive execution across engineering, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, product, and customer-facing teams. The Technical Project Manager at AI2CYBER will be responsible for managing the delivery of technically complex projects related to cybersecurity, AI, software platforms, DevSecOps, automation, and security engineering. This is a senior execution-focused role. The ideal candidate must be able to understand technical discussions, manage ambiguity, challenge unclear requirements, coordinate demanding stakeholders, and turn complex ideas into structured delivery plans. We are looking for someone who has already managed real technical projects, worked closely with engineers, and understands what it takes to deliver high-quality technology products in a fast-moving environment. This role is best suited for candidates with strong technical judgment, excellent organizational discipline, and the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities - Own the end-to-end delivery of technical projects related to cybersecurity, AI, automation, DevSecOps, and software platforms. - Define project scope, milestones, timelines, deliverables, risks, dependencies, ownership, and success criteria. - Translate business, product, and customer requirements into clear technical execution plans. - Work closely with engineering, security research, DevOps, product, and leadership teams to ensure alignment and delivery. - Break down complex technical initiatives into actionable tasks, epics, user stories, and delivery milestones. - Track progress, identify blockers early, escalate risks when needed, and ensure timely resolution. - Maintain clear project documentation, technical roadmaps, meeting notes, action plans, decision logs, and delivery reports. - Coordinate product releases, technical pilots, proof-of-concepts, customer onboarding, and production deployments. - Ensure that technical priorities are realistic, properly estimated, and aligned with business objectives. - Support the prioritization of features, security improvements, integrations, bug fixes, and platform enhancements. - Manage risks related to delivery timelines, technical complexity, scope creep, security, compliance, and customer expectations. - Facilitate technical meetings and ensure that discussions lead to clear decisions, owners, and next steps. - Improve internal delivery processes, agile workflows, communication structures, and operational efficiency. - Ensure that cybersecurity and secure engineering principles are considered throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications - 5+ years of proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, Engineering Project Manager, Delivery Manager, Product Owner, Technical Program Manager, or similar role. - Demonstrated experience managing complex technical projects from planning to delivery. - Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, agile delivery, engineering workflows, and technical implementation processes. - Experience working directly with software engineers, DevOps engineers, security engineers, or infrastructure teams. - Ability to understand technical architecture, APIs, cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, integrations, infrastructure, and security-related requirements. - Strong ability to convert high-level goals into structured plans, milestones, tasks, owners, and timelines. - Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Strong documentation skills and ability to produce clear technical and project-level documentation. - Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Linear, Notion, ClickUp, Trello, GitHub Projects, or similar. - Ability to manage multiple priorities without losing attention to detail. - Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to operate effectively under pressure. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. - High ownership mentality, structured thinking, and strong execution discipline. Nice to Have - Experience in cybersecurity, DevSecOps, vulnerability management, penetration testing, SOC operations, secure software development, or security automation. - Familiarity with AI/ML products, LLMs, agentic workflows, automation platforms, or AI-powered developer tools. - Experience managing SaaS platforms, cybersecurity products, or enterprise technology projects. - Understanding of security standards and frameworks such as OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, or SOC 2. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Technical background in software engineering, cybersecurity, systems administration, DevOps, or infrastructure. - Experience supporting enterprise customers, technical pilots, proof-of-concept deployments, or production rollouts. - Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, vulnerability scanning, SAST, DAST, SCA, SIEM, EDR, or security tooling. Candidate Profile We are looking for a mature and technically capable project leader who can bring structure, clarity, and execution discipline to complex technical work. The right candidate should be comfortable working with senior engineers, cybersecurity experts, AI specialists, and business stakeholders. They should be able to ask the right questions, detect gaps in planning, challenge unrealistic assumptions, and ensure that projects move forward with clear ownership and accountability. This is not a coordination-only role. The successful candidate must be able to understand the technical context of the work, manage delivery risks, and help teams execute with precision. What We Are Looking For - Have already delivered complex technical or cybersecurity-related projects. - Can operate independently without constant guidance. - Are comfortable in fast-moving, high-expectation environments. - Can bring order to ambiguity and complexity. - Communicate clearly, directly, and professionally. - Understand both technical execution and business impact. - Take ownership instead of simply tracking tasks. - Can work with demanding technical teams and high-value customers. What We Are Not Looking For To ensure the right fit, this position is intended for candidates with substantial hands-on experience in technical project delivery. This role is not designed for entry-level candidates, junior project coordinators, or applicants without meaningful exposure to technical teams, software delivery, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or engineering environments. Candidates should be ready to demonstrate clear examples of past ownership, delivery responsibility, stakeholder management, and technical project execution. Benefits - Opportunity to work on advanced AI and cybersecurity technologies. - A high-impact role in a fast-growing cybersecurity company. - Collaboration with experienced cybersecurity experts, engineers, and researchers. - Exposure to offensive security, DevSecOps, AI automation, and secure software development. - High ownership and direct influence on product and delivery execution. - Flexible working environment. - Career growth opportunities as the company scales. Company Description AI2CYBER is a cybersecurity company building advanced AI-driven solutions for vulnerability discovery, secure software development, offensive security automation, and cyber risk reduction. Our mission is to help organizations identify, understand, prioritize, and remediate security weaknesses faster and more effectively. Please complete the application form and attach your CV, along with a short note explaining why you are interested in joining AI2CYBER. In your application, please include examples of technical projects you have managed, the teams you coordinated, the challenges you handled, and the outcomes you delivered. Note: All applications will be treated with strict confidentiality.
