Role Description We're looking for a Senior Graphic Designer who combines strong visual craft with AI-powered speed — someone who can turn complex financial concepts into scroll-stopping creative for Japan's retail investor market. This is a hands-on execution role. You'll own the day-to-day design output for ThreeTrader's Japan-facing campaigns, working closely with Growth, Marketing, and Content teams to deliver high-quality assets across digital, social, and in-app channels. You move fast, iterate often, and know how to make financial services feel both trustworthy and engaging. Key Responsibilities - Design Execution - Design high-performing marketing assets including paid social ads, display banners, landing pages, email templates, and app store creatives for the Japanese market. - Translate complex trading and financial concepts into clear, visually compelling content for retail investors. - Use AI-powered design tools (e.g. Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Runway) to accelerate creative production while maintaining brand quality. - Brand & Standards - Apply and maintain ThreeTrader's visual identity guidelines consistently across all touchpoints. - Build and maintain reusable templates and design components to improve team efficiency. - Ensure all creative output meets compliance and regulatory requirements for financial services marketing in Japan. - Performance & Localisation - Partner with Growth and Performance Marketing teams to produce creative variants for A/B testing. - Adapt global campaign assets for the Japanese market with cultural sensitivity and local nuance. - Review creative performance data and apply learnings to future design iterations. - Collaboration - Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, CX, and Content teams to ensure visual consistency across the customer journey. - Manage multiple design projects simultaneously in an agile, deadline-driven environment. Qualifications - 5+ years of professional graphic design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating digital marketing and campaign creative. - Proven experience in FinTech, financial services, or a regulated industry — understanding of compliance constraints in marketing materials is essential. - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Figma. - Hands-on experience with AI-powered design tools such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, or Runway. - Experience designing for performance marketing channels — paid social, display, email, and landing pages. - Familiarity with A/B testing workflows and the ability to translate performance data into design decisions. - Native-level or JLPT N1 Japanese proficiency — you'll be designing for and communicating directly with the Japanese retail investor market. - Strong understanding of Japanese visual culture, design sensibilities, and consumer expectations in financial services. Soft Skills - Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Strong attention to detail and a high bar for design quality. - Collaborative and communicative — comfortable working cross-functionally with non-design stakeholders. - Self-directed and adaptable, with a bias toward action. Nice to Have - Experience with motion graphics or short-form video creative. - Familiarity with app store asset design (iOS / Google Play). - Previous experience in a startup or agile team environment. Benefits - Competitive salary and performance-based bonus. - Opportunity to own and shape creative direction in a high-growth market. - A collaborative, international team culture with flat hierarchy. - Modern office in Taichung with flexible working arrangements. - Professional development budget and access to industry tools and resources. - The chance to be part of a pivotal growth phase in the Asia-Pacific FinTech space.
