• Define and own the end-to-end architecture for web and mobile applications, including front-end, back-end, integration, and infrastructure layers. • Translate business and product requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical architectures. • Partner with UX/UI designers to ensure architectural decisions support seamless, intuitive, and accessible user experiences. • Establish architectural standards, design patterns, and best practices across web and mobile platforms. • Lead technology evaluations and make build-vs-buy recommendations for frameworks, tools, and platforms. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring high-quality, consistent implementation of architectural designs. • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, Design) to align technical solutions with business goals. • Conduct architecture reviews, performance audits, and risk assessments across projects. • Drive adoption of modern development practices (microservices, API-first design, responsive/adaptive design, CI/CD, cloud-native architecture). • Ensure solutions meet requirements for performance, scalability, security, accessibility, and cross-device/browser compatibility. • Stay current with emerging trends in web, mobile, and UX technologies, and proactively recommend improvements. • Support pre-sales, client presentations, or stakeholder discussions with architectural vision and technical thought leadership.
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive experience in software architecture, with a strong focus on web and mobile platforms.
- Proven track record of architecting and delivering large-scale, high-traffic web and mobile applications end-to-end.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and the ability to bridge technical architecture with design thinking.
- Hands-on expertise with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and mobile development approaches (native, hybrid, or cross-platform such as React Native/Flutter).
- Solid experience with back-end architecture, RESTful/GraphQL APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (Azure).
- Strong knowledge of responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and cross-browser/device compatibility.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and modern software development lifecycles (Agile/Scrum).
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills — able to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring engineering teams and driving architectural governance.
- Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience working in consulting, digital agency, or product organizations delivering for enterprise clients.
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
- Exposure to performance optimization, security architecture, and scalability planning for high-traffic platforms.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF) are a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
