Partner Solutions Engineer

Hightouch

Sync customer data from your warehouse into the tools your business teams rely on.

Full TimeRemoteTeam 51-200Since 2020H1B No Sponsor

Role Description This is the solutions engineering counterpart to the partner sales team at Hightouch. Most of your time is spent in the field, influencing SEs and technical GTM leaders at our top ISV partners (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, The Trade Desk). The remaining 25% of the role is related to product: project-managing partner product builds that tighten joint positioning and open new co-sell opportunities with key ISVs. What you'll do - Influence technical personas at ISV and SI partners: - Build durable relationships with partner SEs, partner engineering, and partner sales leaders at Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery, The Trade Desk and act as the SE counterpart to our partner sales managers in joint opportunities. - Support the partner sales team with demo environments, partner enablement, architecture reviews, and deal-level technical support across ISV and SI motions. - Run technical evangelism inside partner orgs (joint demos, reference architectures, joint field activity) so Hightouch is positioned as their default CDP and Agentic Marketing partner. - Drive partner-informed product with key ISVs: - Gather technical feedback from the field and translate it into prioritized input for Product and Engineering, for the sole purpose of tightening joint positioning and opening joint go-to-market. - Project-manage the partner-driven product items end to end, from problem statement to shipped change, working alongside Product, Engineering, and Partner Marketing. - Identify integration gaps and joint-solution opportunities with Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery, The Trade Desk, then drive them to a shipped outcome that the partner field can sell. Qualifications - 5+ years in Solutions Engineering, Partner SE, or Solutions Architecture. - Technical proficiency on par with a Solutions Engineer at Hightouch: comfortable owning technical conversations end-to-end with customer and partner technical audiences. - Track record of influencing deals, adoption, or product direction through partners, not just through direct sales cycles. - Deep familiarity with the modern data stack: SQL fluency and hands-on experience with at least one of Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery. - Proven ability to build trust with senior technical stakeholders (PMs, SAs, partner SEs) at large ISVs. - Excellent communicator across audiences: data engineer, PM, partner SE, partner AE, and executive. - High agency, strong ownership, bias toward action. - Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time for partner and customer engagements, and company/industry events. Requirements - On-Target Earnings Range: $180,000-$220,000 annually - Base Salary Range: $126,000-$154,000 annually - Meaningful equity compensation in the form of ISO options and offer early exercise and a 10-year post-termination exercise window. E-Verify Statement Hightouch participates in E-Verify. After you join the team, we'll verify your eligibility to work in the U.S. by submitting information from your Form I-9 to the Social Security Administration and, if needed, the Department of Homeland Security. This process happens post-hire only — we never use E-Verify to pre-screen applicants.
