Job Description
Lifecycle & Growth Marketing Manager
Platform Engineering Masters
Role Description We’re now looking for a hands-on Lifecycle & Growth Marketing Manager to own our lifecycle engine end to end, from first touch to activation, retention and conversion, ensuring our growth systems run reliably across key funnels. In this role, you’ll be responsible for turning traffic and interest into engaged subscribers and learners, converting new leads into customers, and upselling existing customers via thoughtful lifecycle journeys. You’ll also run distribution campaigns through channels like Dripify/Luma, manage our Platform Engineering job board as a growth channel, and own the lifecycle operations behind Platform Engineering University. - Owning end-to-end lifecycle marketing across acquisition, activation and retention (broadcasts + nurtures + lead onboarding + re-engagement + upsell/cross-sell). - Building and optimizing lifecycle workflows in HubSpot (segmentation, lists, properties, workflows/automations, basic scoring where relevant). - Creating and improving email experiences: messaging, sequencing, timing, CTAs, and landing page alignment. - Maintaining deliverability health (list hygiene, suppression logic, bounce/complaint monitoring, ongoing cleanup). - Owning email performance reporting end-to-end (open/click rates, A/B testing, campaign analysis tied to course sales outcomes). - Planning and running highly targeted growth campaigns through Dripify and Luma (small audiences, high intent). - Owning the Platform Engineering job board as a growth channel: job intake/curation, posting QA, tagging, freshness, and subscriber conversion. - Owning the lifecycle operations behind Platform Engineering University: course publishing workflows (content uploads, landing page setup, QA), learner lifecycle flows (onboarding, reminders, surveys, certificates), operational dashboards, and reliable learner experience (including inbox SLAs and live session coordination). Qualifications - 3+ years of hands-on experience in Lifecycle Marketing / Email Marketing / Growth ops (B2B SaaS or similar environment preferred). - Strong experience building lifecycle systems inside modern CRM and marketing automation platforms (segmentation, workflows, reporting, CRM hygiene). Comfortable adapting as systems evolve. - Proven ability to build lifecycle systems that drive outcomes (not just “send emails”): nurture → conversion, onboarding → activation, retention/upsell. - Strong analytical instincts: you can measure performance, run A/B tests, and tie campaigns to revenue outcomes. - Operational rigour and high attention to detail (you design processes that scale and run reliably). - Clear written English and good copy instincts (especially for targeted B2B email comms). - Comfortable owning both growth systems and revenue delivery operations in fast-paced environment. Benefits - Build the lifecycle engine behind the world’s largest platform engineering community. - Fully remote team spread across the globe. - Competitive salary plus equity in a high-growth company. - Real ownership: you’ll run core growth systems end-to-end, not just support them. - A transparent, collaborative culture where shipping consistently matters more than slide decks.
