Role Description This is a pivotal client-facing role offering significant opportunities for leadership and professional development in a rapidly growing business environment. You will collaborate closely with clients and internal project teams to architect and deliver robust data conversion and integration solutions that provide substantial value to our public safety partners. This position involves implementing and refining processes to guarantee quality, enhance productivity, and ensure client satisfaction. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the Solution Architect, Data Conversion is responsible for achieving superior customer satisfaction through the timely and effective delivery of technical services, including schema transformation, technical project scoping, and comprehensive system analysis. What You’ll Do - Serve as a key client-facing technical expert within the Software Solutions Delivery Team. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of networking and software professionals to implement Axon technology for public safety clients. - Manage the full lifecycle of technical projects, both remotely and on-site at client locations. - Engage effectively with technical and non-technical leadership within public safety agencies to communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes. - Partner with the account management team to ensure client needs are comprehensively addressed and expectations are exceeded. - Uphold and champion the highest standards of service delivery for all Axon software deployments. - Identify and assess data conversion and integration requirements and opportunities when migrating from agency legacy systems (cloud and/or on-premise) to Axon’s product suite. - Design, document, and recommend comprehensive data conversion plans, methodologies, and validation strategies tailored to achieve critical agency objectives. - Work closely with product management, sales, software engineering teams, and agency technical stakeholders to deeply understand agency goals, data landscapes, and desired program outcomes. - Utilize and contribute to a library of data tools, ETL scripts, data validation routines, and established best practices to design and oversee the execution of complex projects. - Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and techniques to optimize data conversion processes, improve accuracy, and enhance overall project efficiency. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred or equivalent work experience. - 5+ years experience in analyzing and developing technical systems and software solutions. - Hands-on experience with APIs structures and systems integration (REST, SOAP). - Minimum basic (or Intermediate) skills in SQL, Python, and Azure Cloud tools. - Data-mapping project experience for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load). - Familiar with cloud technologies as well as software development packages and data management tools. - Manage technical projects remotely and at client sites. - Demonstrated system-level understanding of enterprise software systems. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills: demonstrated ability to work with all levels of technical proficiency to understand needs and communicate work. - Experience delivering enterprise software in a regulated environment (GovTech, HIPAA, FinTech, ISO, etc). - Project Management experience and/or certifications (i.e. PMI Certifications). - Willingness to join forces and drive company-wide initiatives across multiple departments. - Able to effectively manage multiple projects, priorities, and tasks within a dynamic environment. - Past experience deploying and implementing a Records Management System (RMS), Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), or both, into public safety agencies a plus. - Enthusiasm and commitment to AXON’s Mission, Core Values, and Program Mission.
