Job Description
Sales AI Engineer
Figma
Role Description As the founding Sales AI Engineer, you’ll be a hands-on builder who designs and ships AI-enabled workflows that connect systems like Salesforce, Slack, and our data stack. You’ll move quickly from prototype to production, measure adoption and impact, and create reusable patterns that help the broader GTM organization build and scale what works. This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States. What you’ll do at Figma: - Build and operationalize AI-powered workflows that improve daily execution for sales reps and managers (e.g., account insights, CRM hygiene, coaching workflows, outbound research/personalization) - Integrate across the GTM stack using APIs, automation platforms, and lightweight internal tools; ensure clean data flow and reliable execution - Apply LLMs pragmatically: choose the lightest safe solution, constrain outputs, and build quality checks and monitoring so workflows can be trusted in production - Partner with SalesOps, Enablement, and GTM Systems to align on requirements, rollout, governance, and production deployment - Create reusable patterns (templates, agents, connectors, documentation) that enable distributed adoption rather than central dependency - Define success metrics for each workflow, track adoption and business impact, and iterate based on real usage and outcomes Qualifications - Experience shipping production-grade automations or internal tools across GTM systems (Salesforce + adjacent tooling), including integration troubleshooting and data hygiene - Hands-on experience building LLM-powered workflows (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar), with an ability to explain how you ensured quality and safety - Strong coding ability plus comfort working with SQL and operational data - Strong product and stakeholder instincts: you can translate ambiguous needs into shippable solutions, and you care deeply whether what you build is adopted Requirements - Familiarity with agentic patterns and experience instrumenting/monitoring AI workflows in production - Experience building internal Slack tooling or CRM-embedded experiences for sales teams - Salesforce development depth or strong equivalent CRM engineering experience Benefits - Equity to employees - Competitive package of additional benefits, including health, dental & vision - Retirement with company contribution - Parental leave & reproductive or family planning support - Mental health & wellness benefits - Generous PTO - Company recharge days - Learning & development stipend - Work from home stipend - Cell phone reimbursement - Sales incentive pay for most sales roles - Annual bonus plan for eligible non-sales roles Pay Transparency Disclosure If based in Figma’s San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below. Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range. Please discuss your specific work location with your recruiter for more information. Annual Base Salary Range: $140,000 — $296,000 USD Company Description At Figma, we celebrate and support our differences.
