Role Description The Senior SAP ABAP Developer of EC Payroll is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative EC Payroll cloud solutions for Foundever. You will translate business requirements into precise technical specifications and collaborate with cross-functional teams to work toward the successful implementation and integration of SAP solutions for ECP. This role involves: - Leading requirement-gathering workshops - Overseeing end-to-end configuration - Conducting parallel payroll testing (including SIT and UAT) - Managing cutover activities - Ensuring seamless integration with related systems This is a remote role; candidates must be located and eligible to work in India and support Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone hours. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - 5-10 years of experience in SAP ABAP development with expert level in SAP ABAP HR, HRSP’s and GL integration experience - 2-5 years of experience supporting SAP Payroll for US and Canada - Proficiency in ABAP programming, including ABAP Objects, ALV reporting, IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, BDCs, and Smart Forms - Strong understanding of SAP system architecture and integration methods - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - SAP certification in ABAP development is a plus - Proven track record in at least one end-to-end implementation - Strong technical expertise and experience with software development processes and procedures, including Agile/Scrum methodologies Requirements - Lead development and maintenance of customization and enhancements within the SAP ECC landscape of SAP Payroll provided via SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll - Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows - Transform business function requirements into technical program specs to code, test and debug programs - Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation phases of the project - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in SAP systems - Optimize and enhance existing ABAP code for performance improvements - Provide technical support and maintenance for SAP HR and Payroll applications within SuccessFactors EC Payroll - Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and coding standards - Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to team members - Develop, code, document and execute unit tests, systems, integration and acceptance tests and testing tools for functions of high complexity - Perform performance tuning to improve performance over multiple functions - Engage other technical team members in the design, delivery, and deployment of solutions - Ensure integration system activities including monitoring the technical architecture (particularly scalability, availability and archiving) meet all SLA's - Undertake performance tuning activities for SAP integration activities - Perform the development and customization of SAP HR and Payroll modules, focusing on HR ABAP, Core ABAP and SAP ABAP Reports - Troubleshoot and resolve SAP application issues with limited supervision - Stay up to date on the latest SAP technologies and best practices - Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment Company Description Foundever® is a global leader in the customer experience (CX) industry.
