• Partnering with hiring managers and department heads to define job requirements, set recruitment strategies, and develop a strong understanding of the talent needed for various teams • Sourcing, attracting, and engaging top-tier candidates using creative sourcing techniques (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Y-combinator networking, etc). • Managing the recruitment process from start to finish, including screening resumes, conducting phone screens, scheduling and coordinating interviews, gathering interview feedback, and facilitating offer negotiations • Building and maintaining talent pipelines for frequently hired roles to ensure quick access to a pool of qualified candidates • Conducting initial assessments to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit • Providing an outstanding candidate experience by guiding applicants through the recruitment process with transparency, consistency, and professionalism • Collaborating with executive leadership on offer details, negotiating offers, and closing candidates to bring them onboard this rocketship!
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in recruiting within a high-growth tech startup environment is a must
- Proven track record of successfully filling technical and non-technical roles across various departments
- Experience with sourcing techniques, talent mapping, and engaging passive candidates
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment CRM tools; Lever experience is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with candidates and hiring managers
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of the technology and AI space is highly desirable
