Job Description

Head of Growth Marketing

Zicasso

• Own the top-down quantitative view of all paid media. Use Media Mix Modeling (MMM) and incrementality testing to directly inform three decisions the executive team cares about: how we allocate budget across channels and funnel stages, how we forecast pipeline quality and volume, and how marketing feeds into revenue planning. • Design an attribution approach that combines MMM, lift studies, geo-holdouts, and platform-level tests into a defensible, multi-layered view and make the measurement case for upper-funnel investment in programmatic, YouTube, and brand. • Partner with Data Science to translate business goals into data requirements, and turn models into actions the paid media team executes against. • Own Google strategy as our primary growth channel: intent segmentation, the Performance Max / Search / manual tradeoff, and feeding LTV and offline conversion signals back into Smart Bidding. Scale without eroding lead quality. • Orchestrate full-funnel strategy across Google, Meta, YouTube, Microsoft Ads, and programmatic (StackAdapt, The Trade Desk, or similar). Develop retargeting and lead-nurture for high-intent travelers who don’t convert on first touch, and lead landing-page and lead-flow CRO in partnership with product. • Build a structured experimentation pipeline where every test (creative, audience, landing page, channel, bid strategy) is logged, measured against a pre-registered hypothesis, and tied to a downstream investment decision. The goal is a system, not a backlog of one-off tests. • Lead our growth team of 4-6. Set the analytical guardrails for the team’s day-to-day platform decisions; you should be able to review a campaign audit, a bidding strategy, or an experiment readout and know whether the rationale holds up. • Define success not just as hitting performance targets but as elevating specialists into strategic operators: people who can own a P&L-adjacent decision, defend it with data, and connect their channel work to company outcomes. • Partner with Creative, Content, Brand, Product, Data, and Operations to improve creative performance, lead quality, and traveler-specialist matching.

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years in growth or performance marketing, with meaningful time spent in high-AOV, high-consideration B2C categories (luxury, travel, real estate, financial services, or complex lead generation), managing multi-million-dollar media budgets.
  • Hands-on experience with MMM, incrementality testing, and multi-touch attribution in environments where conversion windows span weeks or months, not days.
  • Experience building attribution or measurement infrastructure from the ground up and not just operating existing tools. Bonus for shipping offline conversion pipelines, server-side conversion APIs, or LTV-based bidding signals.
  • Experience building repeatable testing systems that connect experiments to budget and roadmap decisions.
  • Strong quantitative fluency: SQL, Tableau (or equivalent BI), and advanced spreadsheets.
  • Experience leading and developing a senior growth team.
  • Executive communication: brings a clear point of view to senior leadership, defends allocation calls with model outputs, and translates complex measurement work into decisions the exec team can act on.

Benefits

  • Remote work from your home base and flexible hours that allow you to enjoy a great work-life balance
  • Innovative, fast-paced and collaborative culture that values diverse voices and opinions
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package (medical, dental, vision)
  • Open Paid Time Off policy and 10 days of company-paid holidays
  • Stock options package
  • 401K retirement plan with employer matching
  • Substantially discounted luxury travel during off-season
  • Learning and development annual stipend
  • Enjoy two company-sponsored business trips each year at international destinations we serve!

The Role Linktree is one of the biggest names on the internet — 70M users, a domain authority of 94, and a product that's evolving fast. Our search strategy needs to evolve with it. We're looking for a Growth Marketing Manager (SEO, AEO) to be the translation layer between what our customers are searching for and what Linktree offers. Creators, musicians, realtors, podcasters, SMBs — each of them has a search journey. Your job is to ensure Linktree shows up in the moments that matter: boosting visibility, enabling feature discovery, and converting intent. This isn't a technical SEO role, and it doesn't touch the SEO of our 70M+ user profiles — we have a world-class Product SEO Lead who owns that. This is a strategic content role with search at its core, measured on organic signups and revenue. What You'll Own - ICP and search intent mapping: Build and maintain a deep understanding of Linktree's customer segments — creators, musicians, podcasters, realtors, SMBs, and more — and the search moments that matter to each of them. Turn that understanding into a content roadmap that drives qualified organic traffic and acquisition. - Content strategy and editorial direction: Own the SEO content strategy across Linktree's marketing site and key organic surfaces. Brief content with precision, direct creators and writers toward what performs, and edit where the bar needs to be raised. You're not the one publishing everything — but you're the reason it's good. - AEO program: Define how Linktree shows up when people ask AI what tool to use, what "link in bio" means, or how to grow as a creator. Build answer-first content formats, establish Linktree's presence on high-authority surfaces AI models actively cite, and create a measurement loop that connects AI Search visibility to acquisition outcomes. - Scalable content systems: Build the briefing frameworks, content templates, and editorial workflows that let great content scale without quality erosion. Work closely with a dedicated Marketing Engineer in the Growth Marketing team to bring AI-powered automation into your content operations. - Measurement and reporting: Define what organic content success looks like — not just traffic, but qualified traffic, signups, and downstream revenue. Build the reporting that connects content output to outcomes and communicates clearly what's working and what isn't. What This Role Is Not This role does not own technical SEO — that sits with our Product SEO Lead, who manages the complexity of 70M+ user profiles on our domain. You'll partner closely with them on inputs, but you're focused on content, not crawl budgets. This role does not own Linktree's brand voice or social storytelling — that's the Director of Content. You'll collaborate on what gets made; they own how it sounds and scales across channels. Who You'll Work With You'll sit within the Growth Marketing team, working closely with: - Product SEO Lead — your technical counterpart. They own the infrastructure; you own the content strategy built on top of it. - Director of Content — your creative partner. You brief the topics and search intent; they bring Linktree's voice and execution muscle. - Website Experience & Optimisation Manager — owns the marketing website as a product. You define what content needs to exist and why; they build and govern the pages. - Marketing Engineer — your automation and systems partner within Growth Marketing. Together you build the workflows that make content operations faster and smarter. What You'll Bring - 5+ years in SEO content strategy, content marketing, or organic growth — with outcomes you can point to, not just articles you can link to. - Deep customer empathy. You think in ICPs, not keywords. You understand that a musician searching for "how to promote my music" and a realtor searching for "how to get more listings" are both Linktree customers at a moment that matters. - Strong editorial judgment. You can write a sharp brief, recognise when a draft isn't there yet, and make it better without rewriting it yourself. - Genuine curiosity about AI Search and what it means for content strategy — and the ability to turn that curiosity into experiments, formats, and playbooks. - A systems mindset. You'd rather build the briefing framework than write the article. - Comfortable working cross-functionally with content, product, and engineering partners without needing direct authority to drive things forward. Nice to have - Experience in the creator economy or building content for creator, musician, or SMB audiences. - Familiarity with Webflow or similar CMS platforms. - Experience with experimentation and analytics tools — GA4, Amplitude, Looker Our Story We’re on a mission to empower anyone to curate, grow, and monetize their digital universe. We created the “link in bio” category — and we’re just getting started. From creators, artists, and entrepreneurs to global brands, we’re redefining how people connect with their communities, showcase their content and promote products — all in one link. Today, a community of 70+ million use Linktree, including icons like Adidas, TikTok, the UN Environmental Program, The NFL, Manchester United, World Central Kitchen, Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, and Selena Gomez. With 48,000 new accounts created every day, Linktree is the fastest-growing leader in our space. We’ve teamed up with some of the world’s biggest platforms including TikTok, Snap, YouTube, GoFundMe, Spotify, Google, Stripe, Reddit, Laylo, and Kajabi, to unify Linkers’ digital spaces, and we partner with retail brands Amazon, Nike, Nordstrom, Target, Sephora, Vuori, and more to share products they love. We’re a tight-knit, passionate team building best-in-class tools that make online presence simple, powerful, and yours. If you're excited by the idea of shaping a new category, setting the standard, and making space for everyone to be seen and succeed, we’d love to meet you. Where and How We Work We're a global, diverse team spread across continents with offices in London, Los Angeles, Melbourne, and San Francisco. We offer autonomy in how you structure your days and weeks. While we’re mindful of time zones and occasionally collaborate outside the typical 9–5, we lean into async work to keep things flowing. Our culture is family-friendly and video-casual where kids, pets, and delivery drivers are welcome. How we’ll help you thrive Our approach to benefits considers the whole person and the unique contributions they bring to Linktree. We want the experience at Linktree to be one that enables people to truly thrive so we can Go Further Together (one of our values). Some ways we support you: - An annual wellbeing allowance to use on things like (but not limited to) fitness memberships, development courses, childcare, travel, charitable donations, pet insurance, home office set-up - the choice is yours! - 100% coverage (and 80% for your dependents) of your monthly premiums for medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance for US-based employees. - Employer contribution towards your retirement. - Generous time off for vacation, holidays, parental leave, volunteer time, and other categories. - Employee stock option program - we want each and every employee to share in the company’s success. At Linktree, we believe in promoting a culture that celebrates unique backgrounds, talents, and experiences, and we’re proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. We are creating an inclusive workplace where every individual feels valued, respected, and has equal opportunities to thrive. We aim to foster a diverse and inclusive environment where all team members have a sense of belonging. Linktree welcomes all people regardless of sex, gender identity, race, ethnicity, disability, pregnancy, age, or other lived experience. If you require accommodations to fully participate in our opportunities, please don't hesitate to reach us at talent@linktr.ee – your needs are important to us.
