Job Description
Growth Marketing Manager (SEO, AEO)
Girls Inc. Of Greater Miami
The Role Linktree is one of the biggest names on the internet — 70M users, a domain authority of 94, and a product that's evolving fast. Our search strategy needs to evolve with it. We're looking for a Growth Marketing Manager (SEO, AEO) to be the translation layer between what our customers are searching for and what Linktree offers. Creators, musicians, realtors, podcasters, SMBs — each of them has a search journey. Your job is to ensure Linktree shows up in the moments that matter: boosting visibility, enabling feature discovery, and converting intent. This isn't a technical SEO role, and it doesn't touch the SEO of our 70M+ user profiles — we have a world-class Product SEO Lead who owns that. This is a strategic content role with search at its core, measured on organic signups and revenue. What You'll Own - ICP and search intent mapping: Build and maintain a deep understanding of Linktree's customer segments — creators, musicians, podcasters, realtors, SMBs, and more — and the search moments that matter to each of them. Turn that understanding into a content roadmap that drives qualified organic traffic and acquisition. - Content strategy and editorial direction: Own the SEO content strategy across Linktree's marketing site and key organic surfaces. Brief content with precision, direct creators and writers toward what performs, and edit where the bar needs to be raised. You're not the one publishing everything — but you're the reason it's good. - AEO program: Define how Linktree shows up when people ask AI what tool to use, what "link in bio" means, or how to grow as a creator. Build answer-first content formats, establish Linktree's presence on high-authority surfaces AI models actively cite, and create a measurement loop that connects AI Search visibility to acquisition outcomes. - Scalable content systems: Build the briefing frameworks, content templates, and editorial workflows that let great content scale without quality erosion. Work closely with a dedicated Marketing Engineer in the Growth Marketing team to bring AI-powered automation into your content operations. - Measurement and reporting: Define what organic content success looks like — not just traffic, but qualified traffic, signups, and downstream revenue. Build the reporting that connects content output to outcomes and communicates clearly what's working and what isn't. What This Role Is Not This role does not own technical SEO — that sits with our Product SEO Lead, who manages the complexity of 70M+ user profiles on our domain. You'll partner closely with them on inputs, but you're focused on content, not crawl budgets. This role does not own Linktree's brand voice or social storytelling — that's the Director of Content. You'll collaborate on what gets made; they own how it sounds and scales across channels. Who You'll Work With You'll sit within the Growth Marketing team, working closely with: - Product SEO Lead — your technical counterpart. They own the infrastructure; you own the content strategy built on top of it. - Director of Content — your creative partner. You brief the topics and search intent; they bring Linktree's voice and execution muscle. - Website Experience & Optimisation Manager — owns the marketing website as a product. You define what content needs to exist and why; they build and govern the pages. - Marketing Engineer — your automation and systems partner within Growth Marketing. Together you build the workflows that make content operations faster and smarter. What You'll Bring - 5+ years in SEO content strategy, content marketing, or organic growth — with outcomes you can point to, not just articles you can link to. - Deep customer empathy. You think in ICPs, not keywords. You understand that a musician searching for "how to promote my music" and a realtor searching for "how to get more listings" are both Linktree customers at a moment that matters. - Strong editorial judgment. You can write a sharp brief, recognise when a draft isn't there yet, and make it better without rewriting it yourself. - Genuine curiosity about AI Search and what it means for content strategy — and the ability to turn that curiosity into experiments, formats, and playbooks. - A systems mindset. You'd rather build the briefing framework than write the article. - Comfortable working cross-functionally with content, product, and engineering partners without needing direct authority to drive things forward. Nice to have - Experience in the creator economy or building content for creator, musician, or SMB audiences. - Familiarity with Webflow or similar CMS platforms. - Experience with experimentation and analytics tools — GA4, Amplitude, Looker Our Story We’re on a mission to empower anyone to curate, grow, and monetize their digital universe. We created the “link in bio” category — and we’re just getting started. From creators, artists, and entrepreneurs to global brands, we’re redefining how people connect with their communities, showcase their content and promote products — all in one link. We’re a tight-knit, passionate team building best-in-class tools that make online presence simple, powerful, and yours. If you're excited by the idea of shaping a new category, setting the standard, and making space for everyone to be seen and succeed, we’d love to meet you. Where and How We Work We're a global, diverse team spread across continents with offices in London, Los Angeles, Melbourne, and San Francisco.
