The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Senior Account Solutions Architect to joins us in Michigan, Ohio, or Indiana. In this role, you will create possibilities, solve problems, and establish working relationships with our customers. You will help our customers invest in solutions from across the Red Hat portfolio that will give them a competitive advantage. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you'll support a sales account executive in managing large enterprise accounts. We’ll need you to apply your technical expertise, passion for open source, thorough understanding of business processes, and ability to identify and create business solutions across multiple technology platforms at the enterprise level. You’ll also need excellent communication and people skills because you'll be a crucial part of the first impression our customers have with Red Hat. What you will do: - Provide advanced technical pre-sales support and architect solutions that include Red Hat products, consulting services, and training aligned with those of our IT and network ecosystem of partners. - Drive engaging conversations, customer relationships and architect solutions that result in sales growth. - Meet revenue goals, deployment, and service objectives while sustaining good relationships with prospects and customers. - Support customer meetings through presentations (e.g., whiteboarding or formal presentations), demonstrations, and explanations of the value of Red Hat technologies, open platforms and architected solutions. - Build trusted relationships with customers and partners to gain an in-depth understanding of the customer's and/or partner’s business, network infrastructure, IT, and applications environments allowing the sales team to best match Red Hat products and solutions with those of our ecosystem of partners to address the customer’s business needs and requirements. - Collaborate with product teams and the Product Engineering, Professional Services, and Sales teams to ensure excellent customer experience with our offerings and solutions - Serve as a trusted subject matter expert for the customers, gain trust of IT professionals, and build long-lasting relationships within our key accounts - Prepare detailed product specifications and implement customer installation plans - Demonstrate expertise by delivering whitepapers and conference speeches; share knowledge with your team members to allow them to learn from your work. - Create and update detailed Technical Account Plans for each enterprise account. - Take classes and certifications exams as required to meet the role's continuing education requirements. What you will bring: - 5 or more years of experience as a sales engineer, consultant, solutions architect, or a relevant role. - Knowledge of Linux (preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux), Red Hat Satellite, Red Hat Insights, or other related technologies. - Knowledge of containers, Kubernetes, and Platform as a Service (PaaS) technologies, such as Red Hat OpenShift. - Knowledge of Ansible or similar automation technologies. - Knowledge of public clouds, including AWS and GCP. - Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English. - Ability to present and have technical and business discussions with C-level executives. - Willingness to travel up to 50%. The salary range for this position is $172,020.00 - $275,360.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications. Pay Transparency Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
