OCT Consulting, LLC is an SBA-certified, 8(a) small business management and technology consulting firm that provides support to Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology. Responsibilities and Duties OCT currently has an opening for a Systems Engineer to work with our federal client, the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency. This position reports to the OCT Corporate Executive as well as the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). This position is expected to be funded in April of 2026. Day to day responsibilities will include: - Applying your experience preparing Information Technology (IT) documentation, block diagrams, and logic flowcharts. - Preparing sample developmental test data and analyzing test results to inform product development and debugging efforts. - Updating and maintaining system requirements and configuration documentation. - Evaluating vendor capabilities, products, and/or IT services in support of transition from STEPP to CSOD. - Proposing development strategies, action plans, and IT roadmaps to guide the transition from STEPP to CSOD. - Collaborating with hardware design engineers on machine characteristics that affect software/database systems and collaborating to resolve compatibility issues. - Supporting the development of operational requirements documentation and requirements traceability matrixes to ensure that operational requirements translate to technical ones.
Job Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Ability to obtain and retain a Secret clearance; the investigation will involve a credit, fingerprint, and law enforcement agency check.
- At least 4 years of experience supporting a combination of Program Executive Office and/or Major Systems Acquisition Programs in a Systems Engineering capacity.
- Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, or related Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) discipline.
- Ability to interface with senior levels of management.
- Ability to recommend improvements to current and future team operations and processes.
- Ability to research, gather, and synthesize data.
- Ability to present conclusions and recommendations to management.
- Ability to prepare summaries, analyses, reports, charts, graphs, instructions, memoranda, and manuals/reference materials for benchmarking purposes or for inclusion in required and ad hoc reports.
- Ability to plan / organize work.
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to perform in a hybrid office environment at the discretion of the client (working on-site as requested while maintaining the equipment necessary/provided for remote work).

What you’ll be doing The Systems Administrator, Unified Communications and Call Center is responsible for the administration and maintenance of our Office365 Teams communications and telephony, as well as our Amazon Connect call center systems. You will ensure the smooth operation of our telecommunications infrastructure, including phone systems, voicemail, call routing, and related technologies. Additionally, you will oversee our call center telephony workflows and support the needs of our customers primarily in our Patient Admissions department. The role demonstrates knowledge in infrastructure systems (both on-premises and cloud-based), operational support, and supporting Eating Recovery Center/Pathlight data centers, corporate offices, remote workers, and nationwide patient treatment locations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Call Center Systems Administration: Oversees the administration and maintenance of the call center systems, such as automatic call distribution (ACD), interactive voice response (IVR), and workforce management (WFM) systems. Configures and optimizes call routing strategies, ensuring efficient distribution of calls among agents. Collaborates with call center managers to implement system enhancements and workflows that enhance customer experience and agent efficiency. - Telecommunications Systems Administration: Maintains the organization's telecommunications infrastructure, including on-premises and cloud-based phone systems, voicemail systems, and related equipment. Monitors system performance and capacity, identifying and resolving issues proactively. Collaborates with internal teams and external vendors to implement system upgrades and enhancements. - User Support and Training: Provides technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users of telecommunications and call center systems. Summary Job Description: Baptist Health is looking for a System IT Pharmacy Specialist to join our team! This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN. Under general direction, responsible for application and integration of information technology in the healthcare setting. The IT Pharmacy Specialist will assist the Director- Pharmacy Applications and Manager- Pharmacy Applications in day-to-day operations of the application team, as well as serve as a liaison between the IT department and operations to align system design with operational processes. This includes data collection, workflow analysis, system configuration, testing, and support. Participates in application deployment and procedure documentation. Ensures that the software build meets organizational goals and external regulatory mandates. Has technical knowledge of all phases of applications system analysis and project management. Duties include instructing, directing and checking the work of other Application Analysts, personnel, and project team members. Acts as project leader for projects with moderate to large budgets or system-wide implications, multiple projects of a short to long-term duration, and medium to large projects.
