Job Description

Senior Product Marketing Manager, Email Hub

Circle

About UsCircle is building the world’s leading all-in-one platform for online communities. We make it possible for creators, coaches, educators, and businesses to bring together their audience with engaging discussions, live streams, events, chat, courses, and payments — all in one place, all under their own brand. We’re proud to be a fully remote company of around 200 (and growing!) team members from 30+ countries around the world. We seek exceptional individuals around the world, set them up to do the best work of their lives, and in turn, create a meaningful impact in their own lives. We don't track hours, but we do manage for high expectations very closely. We collaborate across time zones, are highly async, and like to document a lot. Twice a year, we bring the whole company together in beautiful places around the world for our company offsites. So far, we’ve hosted offsites in Turkey, Portugal, Mexico, Thailand, Colombia, Italy, Ireland, and more, with still more to come! Check out our Careers page for more about working at Circle. About the roleWe’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Email Hub to own messaging, positioning, and go-to-market for one of Circle’s most powerful and fast-growing product surfaces. Email is at the heart of how creators build durable, owned relationships with their audience — and Circle customers already send millions of emails every month through our platform. From newsletters and product announcements to lifecycle automation and event reminders, Email Hub plays a critical role in helping community businesses grow and monetize. In this role, you’ll partner closely with our Head of Email Hub to bring new features and improvements to market, shaping how we tell the story of email inside a community-first platform. You’ll report to the Head of Product Marketing and work cross-functionally with Product, Design, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to drive adoption, differentiation, and long-term value. A fun fact: creators consistently see higher open rates, click-throughs, and revenue per subscriber when email is paired with community. Your job is to help the world understand why Circle is uniquely positioned to power the next era of creator-led email. What you'll be doingOwn messaging and positioning for Circle’s Email Hub surface area. Develop and evolve clear, differentiated messaging that explains how Circle enables creators and community businesses to build owned relationships, drive engagement, and grow sustainably through email. Craft high-impact copy and product content. Write, edit, and oversee the creation of Email Hub–related product content across the website, lifecycle emails, launch assets, sales decks, and product collateral. Your focus will be on translating complex email functionality — automation, segmentation, deliverability, and analytics — into clear, compelling customer value. Guide go-to-market strategy for Email Hub features and improvements. Partner with Product, Growth, and Engineering to plan and execute launches for new Email Hub capabilities, optimizations, and experiments. Ensure launches are tightly coordinated, adoption-focused, and measured against meaningful engagement and retention outcomes. Enable the go-to-market team. Work closely with Sales and Customer Success to create sales enablement materials such as pitch decks, FAQs, battlecards, demos, and internal training that help teams confidently sell and support Circle’s Email Hub. Develop customer-facing enablement and education. Create external resources including product guides, FAQs, help content, onboarding flows, and best-practice examples that help customers understand and fully leverage Email Hub to grow and engage their communities. Collaborate cross-functionally to drive insight-led messaging. Partner with Product, Growth, Customer Success, and Data teams to gather customer insights, feedback, and performance data. Use these insights to continuously refine messaging, positioning, and launch strategies for Email Hub. Support Circle’s broader product marketing strategy. Contribute to Circle’s overall messaging and positioning framework by ensuring Email Hub narratives are consistent, differentiated, and aligned with Circle’s community-first product vision and brand. What you'll need to be successful - Strong alignment with our values. Find our values on our career page if you haven’t read up on them yet. - You are proficient in English (spoken, written, and reading) at a CEFR Level C1 / ILR Level 5. - 5+ years of product marketing experience, preferably within a high-growth, software company environment, with a strong emphasis on messaging, positioning, and copywriting. - A commitment to excellence and craft. We sweat the small details. We obsess over copy, clarity, and consistency. We hold a high bar for how our product and brand show up in the world, and we expect you to do the same. - Exceptional written communication skills. You are an excellent writer and editor. In a fully remote, async company, writing is one of your most important tools. - Proven ability to create high-impact messaging that resonates with diverse audiences and drives real outcomes, from product adoption to revenue growth. - Strong storytelling and simplification skills. You’re able to take complex product surfaces and translate them into clear, compelling narratives that customers immediately understand and value. - Experience crafting positioning frameworks and leading go-to-market strategies for new product launches, working cross-functionally from strategy through execution. - A deep understanding of customer personas and pain points, and a demonstrated ability to address them through thoughtful, customer-first messaging. - A strong sense of ownership. You take responsibility end-to-end, from defining the problem to shipping the solution and measuring impact. You don’t wait to be told what to do, and you care deeply about the outcomes of your work. - A track record of effective cross-functional collaboration with Product, Growth, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver successful launches and campaigns. - A strong work ethic and comfort with high expectations. We’re a fast-growing, venture-backed company with ambitious plans. This role is high-impact and high-accountability, and it’s best suited for someone who thrives in that environment. Bonus Points - You’re a growth marketer turned PMM (or have spent meaningful time in growth), and naturally think about messaging in, funnels, experimentation, and how positioning decisions drive real adoption, activation, and revenue impact. - You’ve worked on email or lifecycle products and know how to bring campaigns, automations, and engagement workflows to market with clarity, deliverability awareness, and a focus on real audience growth. $140,000 - $160,000 USD per yearThe cash compensation range shown is a starting point. In addition to equity, benefits and perks, your cash compensation is subject to an annual review and increase on a once per year basis.
