• Consults with existing and potential clients to assess and understand equipment needs and systems requirements. • Provides expertise and support to sales teams to communicate products, services, and client needs. • Ensures that customer needs are met, which may include product modifications. • Proposes improved materials or products to customers and explains benefits of changes. • Provides support to customers and resolves problems with installed equipment. • Assists with research and development of new products. • Providing customers with step-by-step guidance to resolve technical problems. • Documenting error reports and monitoring performance metrics. • Performs other duties as assigned. • Provide technical training to distributors, agencies, and contractors. • Help develop training materials, such as PowerPoints, Instructions, Guides, and Video instructions content.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of sales, or related product experience
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational and follow-up skills.
- Solid problem-solving skills.
- Highly technical, quickly grasping how things work.
- Presents technical concepts, ideas, and information in terms that both engineers and non-engineers can understand.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills with a proven ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to apply engineering, technology, or other related principles to product sales.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
