Job Title: Strategic Account Manager Reporting To: Management, General Management Work Schedule: Fully Remote or Hybrid if Local – Buffalo, NYMoog’s Industrial Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Manager to drive business growth and support strategy across several of our top customers. You will manage multiple technical proposals and drive internal cross-functional alignment to ensure high customer satisfaction. As a Strategic Account Manager, you will report to the General Manager, Data Center Cooling and will have an onsite work schedule either in East Aurora, NY or in Murphy, NC. As a Strategic Account Manager you will… - Implement business strategies, large customer initiatives, and continuous business improvement practices. - Act as the primary point of contact for all assigned customer-related inquiries and represent the voice of the customer within the facility. - Promote greater customer satisfaction through value-based selling and value pricing practices. - Create strategic engagement points with customers to generate profitable new business opportunities. - Leverage technical aptitude to identify new opportunities, understand customer requirements, and provide effective solutions to practical challenges. - Coordinate across functional disciplines to achieve order requirements in accordance with contract obligations, terms, and conditions. - Provide continuous feedback to the customer on order status throughout the production cycle. - Liaise internally to support in negotiating contract pricing, delivery, administrative requirements, and conditions ensuring compliance with Moog’s policies. - Demonstrate creativity, initiative, and the ability to drive opportunities from concept to completion. - Foster strong relationships across the enterprise with leaders and executives to strengthen Moog's position. Key Challenges: - Understanding Moog's wide customer base and its impact across the enterprise. - Navigating the Data Center hyperscaler acquisition cycle. - Managing complex contracts and technical products for diverse markets and geographies. - Addressing multi-site, multi-product, and different business needs. To be considered for Strategic Account Manager, you will need: - Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering - Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the B2B electromechanical industry. - Minimum of seven (7) years of account management experience. - Experience in the sale, design, or production of engineered components, subsystems, or systems. - Demonstrated prospecting skills, with experience in selling to large global OEM customers preferred. - Experience in facilitating change, planning and organizing, customer focus, and building successful teams. - Ability to travel 20% of the time - domestic and/or international. - Preference is for this person to sit in East Aurora, NY or Murphy, NC, but open to remote for the right person. (This is a Regional Remote position for the Blacksburg, VA team and will report to the Regional Trade Compliance Supervisor. To be considered for the Senior Trade Compliance Import Specialist role, you should have: - Bachelor's Degree, with preference toward International Business, Supply Chain, or related studies. - 5 years of related experience in trade compliance or similar role Highly desired: - Trade Certifications (e.g. Licensed Customs Broker, Certified Customs Specialist, etc.) - Ability to analyze complex situations, research applicable requirements, and propose compliant solutions. - Hands-on experience with Harmonized Tariff Schedule classification, valuation, Customs regulations, and Free Trade Agreement programs - Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP/GTS) - Experience in import operations for a manufacturing environment - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings - Experience with Customs and Border Protection Automated Commercial Environment portal and reporting - Experience with the import requirements of Partner Government Agencies (e.g. FDA, ITAR, EAR, EPA, etc.). As the Senior Trade Compliance Import Specialist, you will: - Support the Operation’s activities in international trade and function as a subject matter expert in import regulations - Provide expertise to ensure Moog’s compliance with import laws and regulations - Maintain the culture of compliance and support the administration of the Company Compliance Program within the Group - Develop processes and work procedures to ensure compliant actions and mitigate risks. - Perform accurate HTSUS classifications - Validate country-of-origin, valuation, and duty calculations for imports - Support stakeholder inquiries to analyze tariff impacts and identify duty-savings opportunities - Manage and validate FTA supplier qualifications (USMCA, CAFTA, KORUS, etc.) - Conduct restricted-party screenings for import transactions - Maintain trade data in internal systems - Support internal and external audits, risk assessments, and corrective actions - Communicate across departments and coordinate with customs brokers on import entry activities - Maintain required documents for record keeping - Stay current on CBP regulatory changes, tariff updates, and evolving compliance expectations - Support domestic and international business travel, including regular travel to Moog’s Blacksburg, VA location.
