Role Description We’re looking for a QA Engineer to ensure that features developed by our dev teams meet high standards of quality, reliability, and accessibility. You’ll work closely with developers, product, and UX to validate functionality, catch issues early, and improve the overall product experience. - Review requirements and user stories to define test cases and acceptance criteria. - Manually test features across browsers, devices, and responsive layouts. - Validate frontend work (React, TypeScript, Django templates) and backend functionality (APIs, Django). - Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues, report bugs, and verify fixes. - Ensure accessibility standards (WCAG) are met. - Provide feedback on usability, performance, and potential improvements. Qualifications - Experience testing web applications across multiple browsers and devices. - Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Django templates) and backend services (APIs). - Experience writing and executing test plans and cases. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Jest). - Exposure to GCP or other cloud platforms. - Experience with accessibility testing. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams. - Attention to detail and strong analytical skills. - Proactive problem-solving and curiosity. - Ownership of quality and testing processes. - Collaboration and knowledge sharing.
