The Design Lead serves as the creative steward for all endeavours within Mythwright’s IP ecosystem. Role Description Mythwright is a new games publisher, established by industry veterans with a proven track record of delivering successful titles. We care deeply about supporting creative teams and building long-lasting, collaborative relationships grounded in trust and shared vision. Our focus is on Steam, where we are curating a portfolio of Simulation, Management, Strategy, and adjacent niche games designed for passionate, highly engaged player communities. We believe in championing developers, supporting creative vision, and publishing games that earn lasting loyalty. In this role, you’ll primarily focus on the strategy game Thronefall, but also take ownership of key distribution-related workstreams to ensure every title in our catalogue thrives. The Design Lead serves as the creative steward for all endeavours within Mythwright’s IP ecosystem. Working closely with leadership and external development partners, you will provide creative direction, strategic design guidance, and hands-on support across multiple concurrent projects, including expansions, sequels, and spinoffs. Your deep design expertise and game industry experience will also help inform the shape of third-party titles within our publishing portfolio. Through a balance of high-level creative oversight and practical design guidance, you help ensure the quality, cohesion, and long-term success of projects serving diverse audiences, genres and stages of production. These contributions to the design department help ensure that every project under the Mythwright banner reflects strong design thinking, a clear creative identity, and sustainable development practices. In this role, it’s your job to own growth marketing activities using your experience to drive creative and impactful traffic to all the games under your responsibility, including growing the wishlists (pre-launch) and revenue (post-launch) through optimisation and experimentation. Key Responsibilities: 1 - Wishlist Growth You will be responsible for optimising every stage of the funnel to drive both organic and high-ROI inorganic growth. Success looks like: - Running effective campaigns to drive wishlist growth - Optimising store pages for conversion and visibility - Ensuring messaging / communications match our products (for review scores) - Continuously experimenting with new creative approaches, platforms, and services - Collaborating with external agencies to produce high-quality assets (trailers, key art, etc.) to support your campaigns 2 - Data and Dashboards You will be responsible for monitoring, analysing, and reporting on the performance of the games under your responsibility, ensuring insights lead directly to action and improvement. Success looks like: - Building and maintaining clear, up-to-date product dashboards that are updated weekly - Tracking and analysing both organic and inorganic growth performance - Reporting concise, actionable outcomes and ROI for each campaign or experiment - Collaborating with developers to align campaign performance with product vision 3 - Inbound Enquiries You will be responsible for increasing the number and quality of inbound enquiries from developers looking for publishing support. Success looks like: - Building and maintaining a strong, high-quality online presence - Running creative campaigns to attract submissions from new developers - Experimenting with outreach approaches to improve conversion rates from initial contact to partnership discussions
Role Description We’re looking for a Principal/Lead Designer to work on a Simulation Game. This is a highly hands-on role, with more than ninety percent of your time spent directly in the build, leading prototyping, gameplay, and practical design work. You’ll contribute to and strengthen the ambition of our internally developed simulation games, focusing on systems that turn everyday work into rich, shareable play and eventually leading a small team of designers. You’ll work closely with a small, multidisciplinary team to build imaginative and replayable simulation games that connect with players, always balancing believability with fun. Qualifications - Experience leading design on simulation, sandbox, or systems-driven games. - Ability to translate high-level ideas into practical, in-build gameplay work. - Ability to balance real-world authenticity with gamified fun. - Excellent communication skills that help make designs clear, concise, and inspiring. - Comfortable operating in lean, agile environments. - Comfortable with creative acceleration tools and staying hands-on. - A genuine love for sims and for turning everyday life into extraordinary play. - Located within a UK/EU timezone. • In this role, the Senior External Producer will play a critical part in ensuring Mythwright releases a portfolio of high-quality titles. • You will manage cross functional projects across multiple platforms, working closely with external and internal development partners to deliver games that meet creative, commercial, and quality expectations for our diverse global audience. • You will act as a trusted production partner providing structure, visibility, and support while balancing creative ambition with practical delivery constraints. • You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong, productive relationships with our external partners; ensuring alignment across creative vision, scope, schedule, and budget. • You will be responsible for maintaining clear visibility across all assigned projects, ensuring progress is tracked accurately and communicated effectively to internal stakeholders. • You will be responsible for overseeing the end to end release process, ensuring games are delivered smoothly, compliantly, and to the expected quality bar.
