Qualifications - Proficiency in AWS architecture, including design and management of government enclave environments - Demonstrated experience with cloud-native application design and DevSecOps practices - Knowledge of multi-tenant architecture and Zero Trust principles as applied in federal cloud environments - Familiarity with healthcare data integration standards, including FHIR, HL7, and API-based interoperability - Ability to assess technical compliance against FedRAMP High controls and documentation requirements - Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly convey technical findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders - Organized and capable of managing multiple concurrent assessments and deliverables Requirements - 8+ years of cloud architecture experience, with demonstrated exposure to government or regulated cloud environments Preferred Skills - Experience with container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, ECS) in a FedRAMP environment - Familiarity with DSS Health Cloud or similar healthcare-focused cloud platforms - Knowledge of VA or DoD health IT systems and standards Education - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline - A combination of education and experience will be considered (2 years of relevant experience equivalent to 1 year in a degree program) Desired Education - Master's degree in a related technical field Certification(s), Licenses - AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional - AWS Certified Security – Specialty - CompTIA Cloud+ or equivalent cloud certification Physical Demands - Standing: 5% per day - Sitting: 90% per day - Walking: 5% per day - Stooping: Minimal - Lifting: Up to 10 lbs. unassisted, several times a day (laptop, office equipment, office supplies, etc.) - Computer Work: 85% per day - Telephone Work: 15% per day - Reading: 20% per day - Other: Travel unassisted up to ___% per year, via common carrier and/or personal automobile.
