Role Description The Associate Manager, Client Services role supports AccessGenius, a multiplatform pharmaceutical cost and coverage application, serving as a lead or co-lead analyst on client engagements. The role oversees projects from concept through launch, ensuring solutions meet client needs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, and manages the day-to-day activities for the project(s) assigned. Works closely with clients and Executive personnel to continually define the problem and deploy solutions by supporting the team in executing various work streams. Ensures the engagement stays on track and is focused on delivering valuable insights to the client while also coaching and mentoring analysts and consultants on their team. Utilizes skills through a breadth of challenges delivering long-term effects to leaders in the health care sector. - Managing project(s) including both internal and external resources in the design, development, and delivery of client solutions. - Leveraging business experience and acumen in identifying strategic alternatives and project approach to client questions. - Proactively mentoring, coaching, and sharing subject matter expertise with others to elevate our capabilities to deliver world-class solutions for clients. - Serving as key point of contact with clients, managing the process of proposal preparation and/or modifications including overall bid integrity. - Providing follow-up with client after project deliverable has been completed to ensure client satisfaction. - Developing broader and deeper knowledge of consulting methodologies and the pharmaceutical market through on-the-job experience and training. - Providing direction, advice, and intellectual leadership to clients and delivery teams, through consistent participation in team meetings. - Proactively identifying Business Development opportunities and coordinating follow-up efforts. - Providing high-level input and ensuring the development of client records and presentations and delivering all or significant portions of findings to client. - Leading ad hoc work streams on critical people-related issues such as recruitment, learning, and development. - Ensuring clear communication throughout projects. - Ability to travel 15-50% of the time depending on project assignment. Qualifications - Education: Bachelor degree required. Masters, or MBA preferred. - Work Experience: 4 years of Pharmaceuticals, Managed Markets Consulting or Managed Markets agency experience with broad-based experience in sales, managed care, marketing and/or managed care analytics is required. - Defined experience within Commercial Strategy. - Demonstrable experience in leadership and influence in sizable and multi-disciplined teams, understanding and assessing client needs, incorporating in deliverables, and ensuring recommendations/results are implemented. - Experience in developing credible relationships with senior level managers and executives in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Requirements - Technical Skills: Expertise in Microsoft Office Applications such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. and project management software. - Working knowledge of relational database technology and data analysis tools such as SQL, SAS, SPSS, Tableau, and PowerBI. - Broad understanding of contracts and key business levers in managed markets. - Ability to contribute to business development through the identification of leads, development of proposals, knowledge of key issues, current developments, consulting methodologies, tools and techniques in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
