The person in this role will be responsible for understanding customer wear and friction challenges and translating them into innovative specialty lubricant and tribology solutions to meet application performance and cost in use requirements. - Collaboration with customers, ranging from design engineers to end customers, to identify application needs and translate into test design or product solution. - Deliver product and technology training to customers and channel partners. - Lead or participate as a core member of an engineering or product commercialization team. - Support the development of new and modified products to meet customer and market needs. - Includes learning and understanding of various industry standards and test methods. - Develop expertise with specialty test equipment specific to lubricants – includes collaboration with global tribologist. - Explore the unique properties of low friction coatings and advanced lubricants to create value-added, differentiated solutions for customers. - Participate in multi-function teams including research & development, business development, marketing, supply chain, and others to deliver on team and business priorities. - Travel to customers and within the Americas region for training, meetings, etc. (~ 50%) Qualifications - B.S. in Engineering or hard science – Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering preferred - Certified Lubricating Grease Specialist (CLGS), Certified Lubrication Specialist (CLS) is a plus - Excellent written and oral communication skills and excellent interpersonal communication skills are necessary. - 5 years of related experience in lubrication or tribology. - Demonstrated high level of competency of mechanical systems, knowledge of lubricating materials and basics of tribology. - Demonstrated high level of integrity, thoroughness, creativity, flexibility, initiative, problem solving skill and productive collaborative teamwork is a must. - Six Sigma Green Belt experience is a plus - Fluent in Spanish and English. Portuguese is a plus. Requirements - This is a 100% remote position requiring availability for frequent travel within the Monterrey/Nuevo León region, as well as travel throughout the Americas. The IAH is a business division comprised of a cross-functional team to deliver automated solutions (including robotic process automation) for processes and tasks where efficiency can be improved. The Application Developer Senior reviews, analyzes, modifies, creates, debugs, designs, and tests applications using modern development methodologies and tools. Provides key insight in design and application architecture discussions. A key player on a multidisciplinary team and will engage in all aspects of the application development life cycle as needed for each project to be successful. Qualifications - Hands-on experience with UiPath. - Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting production applications or automations. - Experience with automation design concepts such as credential management, queues, logging, exception handling, scheduling/orchestration, monitoring, and production support. - Experience with Azure Devops/Jira, Git, etc. - Ability to clearly articulate and implement documentation practices for automation solutions and code, with hands-on experience creating and maintaining standard RPA artifacts such as Process Design Documents (PDDs), Solution Design Documents (SDDs), and technical/runbook documentation. - Strong technical documentation, troubleshooting, debugging, analytical thinking, and communication skills. - Have mentoring experience/ability to mentor others and contribute to development standards and quality practices. - Should have code/peer review experience. - Experience with SQL, databases, and APIs. - Proficiency with one or more programming or scripting languages such as C#, Python, JavaScript, VB.NET, or similar.
