Role Description The P&C Wholesale Account Associate will provide administrative and operational support to senior underwriting and broker staff, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all marketing, service, data entry, and bind/post-bind tasks. This is a developing level position. - Enter and update account, quote, and policy information in the agency management system with a high degree of accuracy. - Accurately enter data received on applications into carrier online rating portals. - Ensure data integrity by following established naming conventions, coding standards, and documentation requirements. - Prepare, review, and process bind orders in coordination with the brokers and underwriters. - Complete post-bind tasks, including policy issuance, endorsements, and cancellations. - Confirm all required forms, signatures, and documentation are complete. - Manage inbound calls, connecting customers and team members to ensure a seamless and positive experience. - Process mid-term changes, cancellations, reinstatements, and renewal documentation. - Track and follow up on outstanding carrier requests to ensure timely resolution. - Manage assigned task queues to ensure brokers/underwriters receive timely support. - Assist in preparing quote proposals, summaries, and market comparison documents when needed. - Ensure compliance with carrier and regulatory documentation requirements. - Communicate with carrier and retail agent partners. - Respond to requests for missing or corrected information promptly. - Provide administrative support to the business unit as needed. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Minimum of 1 year of underwriting or related insurance experience required. - Must have Property & Casualty Brokers License. - CPCU, CIC, CRIS, etc. a plus. - Strong customer service experience. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn industry-specific software. - Ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments. - Strong desire to learn, explore new ideas, and seek out new knowledge. - Ability to be flexible, embrace change, and quickly pivot in response to shifting priorities. The starting hourly pay scale for this position is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on factors such as skills, qualifications, training, and experience. ISC's salary ranges are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
