Job Description

Field Project Engineer

Prinsco, Inc.

• Support Project Execution • Serve as the primary engineering contact during project installation and startup • Visit project sites to assess conditions and support successful installation • Attend pre-construction meetings, site meetings, and key project installations • Work closely with contractors, engineers, owners, and sales teams throughout the project lifecycle • Identify and resolve field challenges while maintaining project schedules • Assist contractors and customers with installation best practices and troubleshooting • Answer technical questions regarding the application and performance of Prinsco products • Support stormwater, detention, and retention projects • Develop project-specific drawings and technical documentation • Review project plans and designs to ensure successful product application • Partner with manufacturing teams to address field performance concerns and identify improvement opportunities

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering field
  • Minimum of two years of engineering experience
  • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification preferred or completed
  • Experience working directly with customers, contractors, manufacturing, or construction projects
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 50%

The Field Service Technician provides on‑site and remote support for Circuit Check test systems, ensuring customers receive responsive, knowledgeable, and professional service. This role combines hands‑on technical work, customer interaction, troubleshooting expertise, and collaboration with internal engineering teams. When not engaged at customer site or remote, the Field Service Technician will assist CCI facility production needs or be utilized in quoting and fault determination. Travel is required up to 50% of the time, including visits to customer sites and occasional trips to Circuit Check facilities for training or issue resolution. Preferred location: Maple Grove, MN or Burlington, Ontario, though remote candidates based in US or Canada will be considered.
