• Create new drawings from as-builts, aerial imagery, field notes, and survey data • Set up sheets, title blocks, notes, plans, and details for an overall drawing package • Add annotation and dimensions to foundation location plans, sections, and details to PDF for review • Modify drawings as directed by Design Coordinator, Engineer, or Designer

• Lead and support power plant conceptual design and capital project execution • Serve as the project focal point for owners engineer services for power plant new build projects • Perform mechanical design, capital project oversite, and equipment selection • Support equipment specifications, vendor oversite, and commissioning activities • Translate project objectives into actionable plans that meet or exceed schedule and budget targets • Prepare for and lead client meetings and technical discussions • Provide field support (approximately 15-20%) for project execution

• Serve as a senior technical advisor for electrical substation, underground transmission, protection, and control projects • Provide senior-level technical leadership and engineering expertise for substation and transmission projects • Independently plan, execute, and oversee complex engineering assignments • Evaluate, adapt, and develop engineering solutions to address technical challenges • Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technical staff • Ensure compliance with applicable design codes, building codes, OSHA, FERC, NERC, and CIP standards • Support cost-benefit analyses and evaluation of alternative engineering approaches • Develop technical specifications for services, equipment, and materials • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal project teams • Review and provide comments on engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and design deliverables • Assist with bid evaluations, contract reviews, and award recommendations • Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation for executive and public review • Provide expert technical testimony and support when required • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both verbally and in writing • Analyze and resolve complex technical issues using sound engineering judgment

• Lead the delivery of complex natural gas infrastructure projects while serving as a trusted advisor to clients. • Oversee projects from early planning through construction and commissioning, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk across a portfolio of pipeline and gas facility projects. • Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers, project managers, and technical specialists, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and meet client expectations. • Mentor staff, support project execution best practices, coordinate internal stakeholders, and help teams navigate technical, operational, and schedule-related challenges. • Maintain project performance, forecasting resource needs, and driving continuous improvement across project delivery efforts. • Regularly engage with clients to understand their needs, identify new opportunities, support proposals, and help expand presence within strategic accounts.

• Support high-pressure gas distribution and transmission projects. • Collaborate closely with project engineers and designers. • Perform engineering calculations. • Design pipeline routes. • Develop construction estimates.

• Lead impactful electric utility projects that help strengthen and modernize the power grid • Oversee overhead and underground distribution projects from planning through construction • Partner with clients, engineers, and field teams to deliver various initiatives • Ensure projects meet specifications and lead small to medium projects • Communicate challenges about scope, cost, schedule, and quality • Self-check work assignments prior to submitting for review

• Develop and maintain detailed schedules for transmission and substation projects using Primavera P6. • Collaborate across teams to validate schedule accuracy and drive alignment with strategic goals. • Perform critical path analysis, resource loading, and forecasting to proactively identify risks and optimize timelines. • Monitor project progress, flag potential delays, and lead the development of recovery plans.

• Create detailed design plans for medium and high-voltage substations • Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings • Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to produce technical drawings

• Understanding of steel detailing conventions (gauge lines, edge distances, weld symbols etc.) • Operating within steel standards and codes • Create structural steel fabrication drawings • Visualize and interpret steel structure drawings in 2d and 3d • Design and detail connections including checks for conflicts with support steel and equipment • Work between multi-disciplinary engineering groups • Foundation detailing including pile cap layout and design

Role Description Join our team as a CAD Technician, where you’ll support the design and maintenance of electrical distribution systems. In this role, you’ll create and update drawings, ensure data accuracy, and collaborate with project teams to meet quality and production goals. - Drafts electrical designs and maintains accurate records of an Electrical Distribution Systems’ field assets in a simulated live electrical environment within a Small World application on a daily basis. - Reads and understands project specifications, procedures, and requirements as necessary. - Becomes proficient in utilization of project specific CAD software and associated applications as quickly as possible. - Gains proficiency in all project QA Tools and resolution of QA errors as required. - Incorporates quality feedback into daily production processes to ensure high quality work output. - Identifies problems on Source Material and informs appropriate project members of assistance in their resolution as required. - Meets all project targets and quality expectations within 90 days of hire and ongoing after that. - Interfaces with team leads as required ensuring consistency in project specifications, standards, procedures and techniques. - Develops ongoing proficiency on assigned hardware/software; participates in applicable training programs to acquire knowledge of applicable specifications and procedures. Qualifications - High school degree or equivalent. - Basic Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation software and applications is desirable. - Basic Computer Assisted Drawing and Design skills with a knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and other trail point and layer-based drawing applications is desirable.
