Role Description The Bilingual Education and Learning Solutions Specialist is a role supporting the Education and Product Development services. Promote our Education product line in your designated region to support existing users and facilitate new business opportunities. This position will also be responsible for identifying new areas of growth for Education including working with government stakeholders on skilled trades and youth education initiatives. - Business Growth: - Partner with the Education and product development team in scoping opportunities for education. - Identify and map Education content to provincial outcomes ensuring that resources align to provincial standards. - Network with government, industry and training providers to ensure our products meet required standards. - Work with colleges and vocational schools to partner on Education courses to increase revenue across a range of CWB education products. - Present value propositions internally and to potential and current clients. - Assist in lead generation, proposal development for Education product and service offerings. - Ensure all stages of lead generation are entered into CRM. - Be accountable for territorial revenue growth and client adoption/onboarding. - Responsible for maintaining the files of all clients who are “in-progress”, and ensure that AP forms, quotations and licensing agreements are completed as needed. - Generate new leads and opportunities for the Education product lines. - Travel to client sites as needed and showcase Education products and services (travel up to 30%). - Assist Sales and Marketing in developing Education launch packages and specific product training programs for both internal staff and end user customers. - Client Service: - Conduct training sessions and seminars for clients and customers. - Manage customer demonstration accounts and ensure that these are monitored and followed-up on after demo period has ended. - Collect feedback from instructors and teachers and consolidate to reports to learning development managers. - Manage project portfolio to ensure quality, on-time and on-budget implementations using a mix of resources within the CWB Group. - Ensure accounts are up to do in CRM and Brightspace. - Work with end user clients to troubleshoot and manage their LMS accounts. - Collaborate with other user enablement managers for resource allocations and workload assignments to meet delivery requirements. - Collaborate with vice presidents, directors, managers and peers in creation of new services to advance practice and customer success. - Provide feedback to company management to ensure curriculum, content, material resources and asset quality are met. - Attend industry conferences and tradeshows, as appropriate, to represent the company and promote Education. - Business Management: - Work collaboratively with Sales, Operations, Product Development and CWBWF to help build product knowledge, Education programs and educational training initiatives and deployments. - Manage territorial budgets including revenue, costs, training and meeting goals. - Support Sales staff as needed as SME’s to support the corporate sales development. - Work collaboratively with the CWBWF to ensure that they understand the system and help onboard clients to their requested needs (high schools and colleges). - Other duties as assigned. Role Description As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be supporting the business by assisting with all aspects of quality assurance functions, operational processes and oversight of QA projects. Role Description The Welding Technologist is responsible to assist the welding engineers in completing quarterly visits, and reports at our retained CWB clients; assist in the generation of welding procedures, conduct training programs, complete technical/consulting projects and welding specialist for the Automotive Repair Program. This includes: - Delivery of Retained Engineering Service - Visit local clients and complete quarterly retained engineer’s visit and report on behalf of the CWB Consulting Retained Engineer. - Preparation of Welding Procedures under the guidance of one of the CWB Consulting engineers. - Visually assess the fabricated assemblies in accordance with the fabrication standard, both during welding and upon completion. - Consult with the client on actions required to achieve or maintain CWB certification. - Review all reports created with the client, ensuring they are thorough and accurate so that they will meet all CWB audit requirements. - Ensure clients are aware of other services offered by CWB Consulting. - Delivery of Welding Training - Prepare quotes for training based on a clear scope of services defined by the client. - Secure contract signature for training. - Work with the client to arrange suitable times for delivery of training. - Complete required training using standard presentations or create custom presentation. - Training could be theory and or practical hands-on training of SMAW, GMAW, FCAW/MCAW, GTAW, or SAW for carbon and or stainless steels. - Training, witnessing and evaluation of the Automotive Repair Program. - Complete Technical Projects - Prepare quotes based on client scope. - Secure contract signature for project. - Work with the client to arrange suitable times for completion of the project. - Complete project based on applicable code, standard or customer specification. - Write report and delivery of Executive Summary at the client. - Ensure clients are aware of other services offered by CWB Consulting. - Ensure certified clients continue to meet the requirements of certification. - Business Development - Raise the awareness with clients of all CWB Consulting product/service lines and the benefits associated with them. - Promote certification to new/potential clients. - Collaborates with Marketing and Sales Department to assist with lead generation. - Other duties as assigned: - Generation of Welding Procedures (WPS and WPDS’s). In this position, you will report to the Business Manager, Consulting and will work out of their home office in Alberta. Travel can be expected for approximately 2 weeks per month. Role Description The Manager, Fund and Partner Development is an experienced fundraiser and strategic relationship builder, who will support the Director, Development, the Executive Director and the Foundation Team in expanding and further diversifying revenue generation into new geographic and demographic areas – corporate, institutional, and foundations, in Canada and globally, to achieve the external fundraising goals of the organization. This position is primarily remote based, with travel across Canada and potentially the US, and will report to the Director, Development, CWB Welding Foundation and work with management and staff across the Foundation and the CWB Group of Companies. Key responsibilities include: - Fundraising and Donor Development - Identify, cultivate, solicit and steward donors to meet annual fundraising goals. - Support the development of a fundraising business plan, containing strategies related to individual donors and prospects including identification, qualification, cultivation and successful solicitation. - Identify and propose potential fundraising programs/initiatives in alignment with the strategic priorities of the Foundation and Community Investment and sponsorship priorities of potential funders and granting agencies. - Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Foundation programs to create opportunities for donor engagement. - Engage with and professionally support community and volunteers in cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activities. - Prepare compelling and strategic fundraising materials including, but not limited to, information briefs, cases for support, briefing notes, proposals, grants, sponsorship materials and stewardship reports. - Liaise with marketing/communications/digital and donor relations support personnel to develop fundraising and recognition materials. - Develop and maintain accurate, professional and current records, actions and reports. - Assist in the preparation of an annual plan of measurable goals and strategies (including precise and practical deadlines), to maximize commitments. - Report fundraising activities (including names of volunteers to recruit/visit, solicitation calls, cultivation calls) at team meetings and ensures that these actions are recorded in the Foundation’s database. - Act as an ambassador throughout the community and constituents, positively representing the Foundation and CWB Group. - Partnership Development, Management and Communications - Identify, engage and build formal and informal relationships with like-minded organizations with complementary interests and programs that align with the purpose and strategic vision of the Foundation. - Identify opportunities to collaborate on initiatives that meet mutually beneficial objectives, initiate joint or support based funding proposals to organizations including associations, government and NGO’s and corporations. - Establish and ensure the accurate reporting of methods and metrics to enable qualification and quantification of impact for funded and collaborative initiatives. - Foster an environment wherein collaboration and partnership activity is activated and stewarded to ensure that objectives are met. - Research - Gain understanding of the future and current employment needs, and financial needs of major industry sectors, skills gaps and shortages, being addressed by CWBWF. - Gain and develop keen awareness of the skill based, accreditation, and other educational gaps of the current workforce as well as evolving requirements for successful career paths within the welding and joining industry, across provincial and international markets. - Manage a portfolio of 80-120 active relationships: prospects (identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship) for funding and partnership, using a focused and accountable approach of strategy development, cultivation, solicitation, and implementation. - Donor Communications and Stewardship - Engage with and professionally support business partners and volunteers in qualification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activities. - Develop and implement relationship management strategies and timelines. - Work closely with donor relations staff to determine the best strategies for effective stewardship of donors. - Lead and collaborate in the development and publication of all necessary materials, proposals (philanthropic and sponsorship), cases for support, letters, reports and acknowledgments for cultivation and stewardship of partners. - Work with colleagues to plan and execute proposals and targeted communication plans for new, existing and potential partners. - Acknowledge that current donors are the Foundations top prospects and lead accordingly to recognize them for their investments with professional stewardship activities, communications and impact reporting. - Management, Supervision and Administration - Collaborate with marketing communications, research, and program staff to identify new opportunities – prospect identification, gaps, and produce professional, high-quality proposals and reporting communications, impact reporting and reinforcing the brand, purpose and strategic vision of the Foundation. -
