Role Description ENTACT is actively seeking a Field Engineer in the environmental remediation and geotechnical construction industry. Candidates must be open to sustained project-based travel within the US, at least 80% of the time. Project locations will vary depending on the assignment. Candidates can reside anywhere within the US. ENTACT offers per diem/living allowance and paid monthly trips home. The position of Field Engineer will work closely with all members of the management and health and safety team. This position includes: - Quality control - Surveying - KPI tracking - Other responsibilities related to the proper and timely execution of ENTACT projects Must be self-motivated to meet deadlines, communicate effectively in a teamwork setting, and be able to adapt role/responsibilities in a fast-paced ever-changing environment. Associates must be open to periods of sustained project-based travel. Must have a valid driver’s license with no driving restrictions which interfere with job requirements. Essential Job Functions - Procurement - Project Engineering - Planning and Submittals - CAD - Field project accounting - Contracts administration - Quality control - Land surveying - Other duties as assigned Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field - HAZWOPER 40 hr. training is highly preferred but not required - Experience with Trimble Business Center or AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred but not required Requirements - Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams - Team players with the ability to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives - Design, planning, and communication skills that promote safe work and safe work products - Oral and written communication skills - Good problem-solving/decision-making skills - Highly motivated, with the ability to take the initiative - Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail - Strong work ethic - Must have a valid driver’s license with no driving restrictions which interfere with job requirements Physical Demands/Visual Requirements - Ability to communicate effectively with management, co-workers, vendors, both individually and in front of a group - Good reasoning ability and decision-making skills - Able to understand and utilize reports, memos, and other documents to conduct business - Must be able to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard - Regular use of the phone, email, text, teams, and computer for communication - Sitting for extended periods - No heavy lifting is expected.
