• Design, build, and maintain comprehensive test strategies that cover the full AGent platform — cloud backend, IoT device communication, embedded firmware, and customer-facing application layers • Develop and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test suites across all platform components • Own test planning for new features and releases, working closely with engineering leads to ensure quality is built in from the start — not bolted on at the end • Maintain clear documentation of test coverage, results, and known issues across the platform • Test AWS infrastructure components including IoT Core device provisioning, Lambda functions, and data ingestion pipelines • Validate TimescaleDB schema performance and data integrity under high-volume, high-frequency telemetry loads • Test API integrations, data pipelines, and backend services for reliability, accuracy, and performance at scale • Develop and execute test protocols for IoT device communication, provisioning workflows, and command handling between cloud and embedded systems • Partner with the Embedded Engineering team to validate firmware behavior, device-to-cloud messaging, and real-time control event accuracy • Build test environments and simulation frameworks that replicate real-world generator behavior and edge conditions • Build and maintain automated test suites integrated into AGent's CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions • Implement automated regression coverage that catches issues before they reach production • Continuously improve test efficiency, coverage, and reliability through automation and tooling • Partner with Cloud Backend, Application, and Embedded Engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle — not just at the end • Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps and prioritization recommendations • Contribute to post-incident reviews and help drive process improvements that prevent recurrence • Actively use Claude AI and other AI tools to accelerate test case generation, documentation, and defect analysis — and bring a continuous improvement mindset to how AI can raise quality across the team
• Support the wholesale energy market registration process across AGent's target markets with exceptional attention to detail • Assist in executing the end-to-end lifecycle of MW participation: interval data acquisition, offer management, registrations, dispatch operations, and settlement • Help ensure program milestones — including seasonal starts, testing, and validation — are met on time • Acquire, manage, and analyze market and asset performance data • Support load modeling and performance forecasting to maximize asset value • Build and maintain reports and dashboards that surface actionable insights for the team • Develop and track KPIs that measure market performance and progress toward strategic goals • Help evaluate and implement tools and technology that improve operational efficiency • Contribute to building scalable processes across data workflows and cross-functional stakeholder responsibilities • Work closely with engineering to ensure systems are aligned and integrated effectively • Support the GTM team with data and market intelligence tools that help quantify and communicate value to prospects
• Own the product roadmap end-to-end: from customer discovery through prioritization, specification, and delivery • Conduct regular customer interviews and work closely with the Sales and Energy Markets teams to identify and prioritize the features and functions that drive the most value • Translate customer needs and market requirements into clear, actionable product specs and engineering priorities • Build and maintain a structured, transparent roadmap that aligns the full leadership team on what's being built, why, and when • Partner with Sales and Customer Operations to ensure new features are communicated, adopted, and driving outcomes for customers • Partner with the Sales team to demo the platform to prospects and customers — you are a credible, compelling voice for what AGent has built and where it's going • Make crisp prioritization decisions: you know how to say no, and how to explain why • Lead, develop, and grow a team of engineers and product managers — people who have worked with you before would follow you anywhere • Establish and maintain the engineering cadence: sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, on-time delivery, and accountability • Own the technology architecture: ensure AGent's platform is built to scale, secure, and capable of supporting 24/7 mission-critical operations • Identify and manage technology outsourcing partnerships that supplement AGent's internal capabilities • Make fast, sound build-vs-buy-vs-partner decisions that optimize for speed, cost, and long-term scalability • Develop and maintain unit economics for the technology platform (hardware BOM, cloud infrastructure costs, etc.) • Bring the operational structure and planning rigor that keeps engineering on schedule and leadership informed • Create and maintain tight delivery timelines — and hold the team accountable to them • Identify and resolve blockers early; surface risks to the CEO before they become problems • Ensure interim solutions and partners are in place wherever needed to support concurrent sales and customer commitments • Report regularly to the board and leadership team on technology roadmap, product milestones, and team performance
• Serve as AGent's foremost expert (internally and externally) on U.S. wholesale energy markets — PJM, MISO, NYISO, ISONE, ERCOT, and beyond • Partner with the CEO and GTM leadership to develop AGent's market prioritization strategy — identifying where to compete, when to enter new markets, and how to maximize portfolio value • Apply market knowledge to commercial execution: help the sales team understand program economics, articulate value to prospects, and position AGent competitively • Identify and prioritize regulatory hurdles across target markets — assessing which barriers represent the greatest risk to commercial opportunity and developing a clear-eyed strategy for navigating them • Monitor regulatory developments across ISO/RTOs and translate their implications into strategic recommendations for the leadership team • Actively engage with ISO/RTO and utility stakeholders to influence regulatory policy and build relationships that benefit AGent's market access and positioning • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of MW participation across all AGent markets: registration, offer management, dispatch operations, and settlement • Build and implement internal protocols that align AGent's operations with the tariffs and operational procedures of each ISO/RTO we participate in • Ensure 100% of MW are registered, validated, and in market ahead of every seasonal start • Own program milestone delivery and all related operational deadlines • Build or buy the tools and technology necessary to achieve operational excellence across market operations • Lead, and develop the Energy Markets team: setting a high bar for rigor, accountability, and continuous improvement • Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Dispatch & Customer Operations, and GTM to ensure all systems, data flows, and customer-facing processes are aligned and symbiotic • Partner with the VP of Product & Engineering to ensure the platform roadmap reflects market operational requirements and regulatory realities • Support the GTM team with market intelligence, program economics tools, and prospect-facing materials that sharpen the sales process • Own data acquisition, analysis, and management across AGent's market portfolio • Lead load modeling and performance forecasting to maximize MW earnings across programs • Build and maintain the metrics and KPIs that give leadership real-time visibility into market performance, portfolio health, and progress toward strategic goals • Drive continuous improvement in offer optimization, settlement accuracy, and overall market performance
• Build and manage a high-quality inbound and outbound lead pipeline that keeps the sales team focused on qualified opportunities • Develop ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) definitions and lead scoring models in HubSpot to ensure Sales Directors spend time only on the right prospects • Use Clay, ZoomInfo, and AI-assisted enrichment to continuously improve data quality and targeting precision • Design and execute campaigns — email sequences, LinkedIn outreach, newsletters, webinars — that generate and nurture leads at scale • Create and maintain materials that help the sales team close: pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, ROI calculators, objection-handling guides, and battlecards • Build HubSpot workflows and automation that surface the right content and tasks to Sales Directors at each stage of the pipeline • Own post-meeting follow-up templates, proposal materials, and contract support collateral • Own HubSpot as the single source of truth — data integrity, lifecycle workflows, pipeline reporting, and deal hygiene from lead to signed contract and future renewals • Conduct regular audits and implement automation to reduce administrative burden on the sales team • Integrate and optimize GTM tools (GoToWebinar, Clay, ZoomInfo, etc.) with HubSpot for seamless operations • Build dashboards and reporting that give leadership real-time visibility into pipeline health and campaign performance • Actively use Claude Enterprise and other AI tools to scale content production, automate research, and accelerate workflows across RevOps • Identify and implement AI-driven solutions to tasks that would otherwise require additional headcount • Stay current on emerging AI tools relevant to GTM, and bring recommendations to leadership • Create compelling sales and marketing content: email sequences, pitch decks, website copy, case studies, and webinar materials • Maintain consistent brand narrative and messaging across all customer touch points • Manage website updates and LinkedIn presence with regular, engaging content • Coordinate thought leadership, speaking engagements, and industry event participation
• Be the first responder to any inbound market signal, dispatch notification, or grid operator communication — drop everything and execute • Lead all internal coordination during a dispatch event: activate the portfolio, align the AGent team, communicate status in real time, and drive toward a flawless delivery • Monitor market alerts and high-alert conditions, keeping the internal team informed and prepared to act • Conduct and coordinate dispatch verification tests, including seasonal portfolio testing for market compliance • Capture lessons learned after every dispatch event; track and resolve any customer issues that arise • Audit offers portfolios regularly to identify suboptimal schedules, sites not in market, or incorrect kW offer values • Support the Energy Markets team with offer management and real-time market optimization during dispatch windows • Own the dispatch readiness calendar — ensure all customers are tested, validated, and prepared well ahead of seasonal start dates • Create and deliver seasonal readiness communications to customers ahead of peak dispatch periods • Monitor customer participation performance and proactively address gaps before they become issues • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of customer site status, program enrollment, and readiness in HubSpot • Manage new customer onboarding end-to-end: from signed contract through market entry and first dispatch • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout onboarding and early account lifecycle • Partner cross-functionally with Field Engineering, Energy Markets, and Sales to deliver a seamless customer experience and ensure clean internal handoffs • Schedule and lead onboarding check-ins and status updates with customers and internal stakeholders • Ensure timely collection of interval data, site information, and documentation required for market registration • Support customers and the sales team with account-related questions beyond onboarding • Build the processes, playbooks, and templates that will define AGent's customer success function as the company scales • Eventually hire and manage a lean team of customer success associates as the portfolio grows • Own HubSpot as the system of record for customer accounts. From signed customer agreement through payments, this role will own all of the required Hubspot processes and data and must maintain rigorous data hygiene • Work with the Head of Operations to tighten internal data flows and build reporting that gives leadership real-time visibility into portfolio health • Contribute to process documentation across dispatch operations and customer success • Identify and implement tools and automation that reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency • Actively use Claude AI to draft customer communications, build process documentation, synthesize market information, and scale output across the role • Bring a continuous improvement mindset to how AI can reduce toil and increase quality across operations
