Role Description The Senior Application Engineer II is responsible for developing a wide range of Ignition applications and solutions. They will develop smaller applications and solutions independently, and contribute to larger team projects as well. The Senior Application Engineer II will also work closely with Sales Engineers to provide Ignition expertise and solutions to the Sales team and customers. Success in this position will result in increased customer satisfaction, well supported Sales Engineers, a more capable and successful Ignition community, and a more impactful Application Engineering team. The Senior Application Engineer II is considered to be very experienced, and will be expected to help and advise other Application Engineers. - Developing Ignition applications and solutions - Providing Ignition expertise and design experience to the Sales Engineering and Sales Division - Building sophisticated Ignition Exchange resources - Providing custom and creative solutions to customers - Developing desktop and mobile front-end applications (Perspective) - Developing and maintaining complex database backend solutions - Developing and testing cloud-based solutions - Developing and maintaining Ignition demo projects and cloud infrastructure - Understanding complex systems quickly and efficiently - Designing and programing test scenarios, mainly using Ignition - Assisting with Ignition benchmark testing - Assisting with R&D work - Researching technical ideas and writing RFI/RFP responses - Attending various conferences and tradeshows with the Public Relations division - Mentoring and assisting other team members - Taking advisory role on complex and challenging projects - Working with the Sales Division to deliver moderate POCs for strategic accounts Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar subject - 6-8 years as a developer or similar experience - Strong knowledge of SQL Databases and SQL language - Experienced in programming languages such as Python and Java - Knowledge of Windows and Linux - Excellent communication skills - Excellent troubleshooting skills - Ability to understand complex systems quickly and efficiently Benefits - 100% Employee Covered Health Care: Don’t pay a dime for your medical, dental, and vision insurance - Paid Time Off: Receive paid holidays, vacation, and sick time - 401k with Match: Save for the future with our company-matching 401k program - World-Class Headquarters: While on-site, enjoy complimentary snacks and beverages, then challenge a friend to a game of pool, table tennis, shuffleboard, or foosball - Adjacent Nature Reserve: On-site employees enjoy breathtaking views and adventures that energize and inspire

Role Description The mission of the Information Technology Group (ITG) is to develop, implement and maintain technology-based services and solutions enabling OHSU to effectively manage information to accomplish its missions. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field and six years of work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operations healthcare environments; - OR Associate’s degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field and seven years of work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments; - OR Eight years work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments; - OR Equivalent combination of education and experience where one year of experience will be substituted for an Associate’s degree and two years of experience will be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
