Role Description Dayforce is looking for a self-starting, highly motivated Product Designer to create useful, usable, and engaging experiences for the millions of workers who rely on Dayforce every day. We believe HR and workforce management software should deliver the same level of care, craft, and usability as the best consumer products, built using modern user-centered and human-centered design practices. - Contribute across the entire design lifecycle—from research and discovery through ideation, prototyping, validation, and final design delivery. - Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, UX Researchers, and fellow Designers to solve complex customer problems while creating intuitive, accessible, and scalable product experiences. - Design and enhance product experiences within one of Dayforce's product pillars, including Attract to Hire, Doing the Work, Compensation, Talent Development, or Platform. - Conduct user research and usability testing, in partnership with UX Researchers, to better understand user needs and validate design solutions. - Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to solve product and user experience challenges. - Work closely with Lead Product Designers and Design Managers to ensure design solutions align with broader product and design strategies. - Present design concepts and clearly communicate the rationale behind design decisions to cross-functional stakeholders. - Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to explore and validate multiple solution approaches. - Deliver detailed product designs built using the Dayforce Design System. - Contribute enhancements and improvements to the Dayforce Design System as needed. - Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design throughout the product development process. - Participate throughout the full product design lifecycle, from discovery through implementation. Qualifications - Experience designing and delivering successful web and mobile products. - Ability to work with guidance from senior designers while continuing to develop independence and ownership. - Familiarity with user-centered and human-centered design methodologies. - Advanced proficiency in at least two of the following areas, with proficiency in at least two additional areas: - Interaction Design. - Visual Design. - Information Architecture. - UX Writing. - User Research. - Research Analysis and Insights. - Front-end Development. - Experience designing for complex systems, multiple user types, and sophisticated workflows; enterprise SaaS experience is an asset. - Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices. - Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills. • Drive end-to-end design for major product areas—from discovery through delivery • Lead problem framing, customer research, conceptual exploration, and iterative validation • Design & Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity UI, and production-ready specs • Partner closely with Product Management on roadmap definition, requirements, and prioritization • Collaborate with Engineering to ensure high-quality implementation and UX fidelity • Conduct and synthesize user research, usability testing, and field observations • Contribute to the improvement and evolution of our design system across components, patterns, and documentation

• Collaborate with the design team to evolve and maintain the design system, ensuring components and documentation remain consistent, scalable, and up to date • Design, prototype, and test intuitive solutions that simplify complex workflows and improve clarity of our digital products • Develop deep empathy for our customers and translate both qualitative insights and quantitative data into creative ideas and informed design decisions • Collaborate with other designers, UX research, product managers and engineering leads supporting the product roadmap and drive solutions • Deliver high-quality interfaces that contribute to a high standard for design excellence • Share work consistently in design reviews, contributing to a culture of open feedback and continuous iteration • Integrate ADA and accessibility best practices throughout the design process, using the right tools to ensure inclusive, compliant experiences for all users

• Act strategically in product design, ensuring an intuitive and efficient user experience • Actively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design decisions meet both user needs and business objectives • Translate research insights and data into visual and interactive solutions, creating wireframes, prototypes, and interfaces aligned with the company's Design System • Conduct and interpret usability research and user interviews • Work closely with front-end development to ensure adherence to the design • Define and monitor success metrics, proposing data-driven improvements • Contribute to the evolution of the Design System, ensuring visual consistency and component scalability across products • Ensure knowledge management and dissemination through clear documentation and by sharing learnings with the team • Continuously learn and stay up to date with Product Design techniques, trends, and best practices.
