Role Description As a Manager, Product Design to join our Cloud Security & Exposures team, you will be a hands-on design leader who’s passionate about mentoring designers, collaborating cross-functionally, and delivering user-centered solutions. You’ll help guide a talented team of product designers, ensuring design quality, consistency, and alignment with user and business needs. What Will You Do? - Team Leadership & Support: - Manage and mentor a team of product designers, supporting their growth and helping them deliver high-quality work. - Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive team environment—encouraging feedback, learning, and ownership. - Help prioritize work across multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, global, remote-first environment. - Design Execution & Quality: - Guide the team through the full design process—from discovery to delivery—ensuring thoughtful, intuitive UX and polished UI. - Review design work to maintain quality and consistency across projects. - Help drive the application of design systems and ensure best practices are followed. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Partner with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to shape solutions and align on priorities. - Translate complex requirements into clear, actionable design work. - Facilitate design reviews and communicate design decisions with clarity and empathy. - Research & Insights: - Help the team leverage user research and data to inform design direction. - Encourage a user-first mindset and support the integration of insights into the design process. - Design Systems & Consistency: - Support the ongoing evolution of our design system, working closely with other designers and engineers to maintain consistency. - Contribute to shared design documentation and tooling that improves team efficiency and alignment. - Project & Process Management: - Help define design timelines in coordination with product and engineering leads. - Keep work organized and moving forward—balancing near-term delivery with long-term thinking. - Ensure the team is aligned on scope, priorities, and expectations. Qualifications - Experience leading or managing product designers, with a focus on mentorship and execution. - A collaborative, hands-on mindset—comfortable shifting between guiding others and jumping into the work. - Familiarity with cybersecurity or cloud security domains is a plus. - Strong communication and presentation skills, especially in cross-functional contexts. - Proficiency in modern design tools like Figma, Pendo, Adobe, etc. - A solid grasp of UX and UI best practices, design systems, and user-centered design. - Experience working in fast-paced, iterative environments, ideally with remote or distributed teams. - A thoughtful, data-informed approach to solving problems and making decisions.
