Job Description

Field Service Engineer – Waste Recycling

TOMRA

• Installation, commissioning, maintenance, optimization, and repair of sensor-based sorters at TOMRA Recycling installation bases. • Ensuring maximum performance of TOMRA sorting systems in the field. • Delivering exceptional customer experiences through effective communication and support. • Optimizing the sorting systems/process by sampling and testing. • Identifying opportunities to add value to our customers' businesses through the introduction of complementary TOMRA products, solutions, and services. • Acting as a link between our customers and Headquarters – collecting and providing feedback from the market so that we can continuously look for new opportunities for our customers.

Job Requirements

  • Completed secondary technical school (FP2) or higher with a specialization in electrician/electronics, automation, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel 80% or more.
  • Work experience in an industrial environment with a focus on on-site preventive and curative maintenance would be a big plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in computer programs, PC configuration, network structures.
  • A certain talent for communication when dealing with people - in our case, these are customers.
  • Native in Italian and proficient in English.
  • Full clean driving license required.
  • Knowledge of the metal scrap business and recycling processes is a plus.
