Role Description We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to support sales growth within Morocco. This is a remote role, with preference for candidates based in Agadir or Marrakesh , Morocco. You will manage a defined market segment and work to understand customer needs, identify new business opportunities, and deliver tailored solutions to meet customer needs. You will collaborate with partners, internal sales teams, and technical stakeholders to build a pipeline of opportunities and develop long-term customer relationships. Key Responsibilities: - Analyse market potential and track market share. - Identify and secure new business opportunities within your territory. - Build and maintain a strong pipeline of projects and sales opportunities. - Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to order closure. - Take ownership of commercial targets and consistently deliver results. - Monitor market potential, customer activity, and market share trends. - Stay informed on industry developments, customer challenges, competitor activity, and TOMRA technologies. - Use a consultative approach to understand customer needs and recommend suitable solutions. - Plan and structure sales activities, including forecasting and pipeline management. - Conduct regular customer visits and remain highly visible in the market. - Lead customer demonstrations, reference visits, webinars, and promotional events. - Work closely with the wider TOMRA Food sales organisation, service teams, sales admin, CPM, and pre-sales engineering. - Organise promotion activities in your area, such as demos, open days, TOMRA Food talks, reference visits, and webinars. - Work with sales plans, and pipeline management tools. - Provide structured feedback from the market to internal teams. Qualifications - Higher qualification in technical, commercial, or industrial engineering. - 5+ years’ experience in sales, ideally within large capital equipment. - Proven success managing long sales cycles and closing high-value deals. - Knowledge of the food industry. - Experience with consultative, solution-based sales methodologies. - Strong commercial acumen and market awareness. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Highly structured, analytical, and proactive approach to sales planning. - Proficiency in English, Arabic and French. - Comfortable working independently in a remote role. - Willingness to travel up to 50%.
