Field Service Technician, Controls

JBT Marel

• Build and troubleshoot PLC programs. • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. • Must be familiar with a variety of extruder/dryer processes and procedures relating to electrical and PLC matters. • Performs a variety of complicated tasks including leading and directing operators and other Technicians. • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • A technical background (education or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley PLC.
  • Knowledge in ControlLogic, RSVIEW3, Factory Talk SE& ME.
  • Experience servicing, maintaining, or commissioning complex machinery or capital equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships.
  • A proactive and independent mindset, with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport, with willingness to travel in globally (approximately 50%).
  • Flexibility to work weekends as required.
