Sales Executive

• Influencing Agent Behavior: Implements and executes sales strategies to achieve financial and sales goals. • Collaborates with internal partners to achieve intended outcomes. • Utilizes the appropriate sales tools to influence behavior, and drive results. • Agency Diagnostics and Cross Selling: Identifies opportunities to cross-sell Kemper Auto products and identified agencies needs aligned with Kemper Auto offerings. • Agency Management and Support: Responsible for managing and developing a territory of independent agents. • Provides an outstanding experience for agents through consultative selling. • Develops and maintains strong relationships with agents at all levels within the agency. • Drives new business growth, mix of business, retention, and profitability within assigned territory. • Stays current on product and pricing trends to drive intended outcomes. • Collaboration and Mentoring Actively participates in regional strategy meetings to develop and lead execution of business goals. • Assist in the implementation of new production launches.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience required with 1+ years of P&C insurance experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree (Business or Marketing preferred).
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Working knowledge of insurance operations: underwriting, claims, marketing, and product.
  • Effective communication skills and be an acceptable public speaker.
  • Must be flexible in nature and a highly motivated self-starter.
  • Intermediate to advanced ability to manipulate, segment and interpret report data through spreadsheets.
  • Highly skilled and effective at time management.
  • Should possess and demonstrate critical thinking skills and be a logical problem solver.
  • Ability to interpret statistical data from company reports and build action plans around the insights obtained from the data.
  • Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record.
