Global Process Engineer – Engine Testing and Balancing
General Electric - GE
• Develop, Qualify, and Improve manufacturing processes • Define global process standards and equipment standards and deploy them across the Aero Alliance factories, partnering with local factory technical leaders • Define, control, communicate global processes for manufacturing assets • Validate engineering specifications and shop floor application of new processes • Partner with channels on the development of new repair processes and qualifications • Develop and implement reliability improvement strategies using industry best practices • Collaborate with maintenance, operations, engineering, and safety teams to design and implement preventive and predictive programs • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing equipment downtime and improve quality processes • Lead investigations into failures and chronic issues, identifying root causes and implementing robust corrective actions • Provide technical support for asset management, including equipment life cycle analysis and spare parts optimization • Train local factory manufacturing engineers
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
- 7+ years of industrial experience in manufacturing or quality
- 5+ years of experience in a technical role (manufacturing engineer or similar) with expertise in Aeroderivative, Aircraft Engine, or Gas Turbine Testing and Balancing
- Strong knowledge of engineering concepts and quality processes
- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and schematics
- Project Management skills and experience
- Fluency in English in writing and speaking
