Job Requirements
- Demonstrated leadership in setting and executing market strategy, aligning project delivery and business development to drive sustained, profitable growth
- Expert at orchestrating cross disciplinary‑ teams to deliver complex projects efficiently and at scale
- Trusted partner to senior internal leaders, shaping growth strategies and evaluating high impact‑ market opportunities
- Deep, established executive network across central and western Virginia and/or North Carolina with strong market presence and influence
- Proven market builder with a consistent record of winning, expanding, and retaining client relationships
- Motivated by ownership and long-term impact, joining SEH as an employee‑ owner with direct accountability for the success, growth, and legacy of the market and work they lead
- Registered as a Professional Engineer in the states of Virginia or North Carolina
- Twenty (20) years of experience managing projects, contributing to market or regional growth strategies, with accountability for business development, client expansion, and delivery performance
- Demonstrated success overseeing complex, multi‑disciplinary project portfolios, balancing strategic vision with operational execution
- Ability to influence and collaborate at the executive level, partnering with internal leaders to shape investment priorities and long-term growth plans
- Prior experience in embracing shared accountability for growth, profitability, and legacy

• Build and execute growth experiments across email, webinars, events, social, community, partner channels, content, and product-led journeys • Create nurture paths for sign-ups, event attendees, community members, hand-raisers, and prospects • Improve conversion across key touchpoints, including event registration, website CTAs, product sign-ups, meeting requests, and follow-up flows • Own event and webinar execution, coordinating logistics, promotion, speaker prep, follow-up, and post-event reporting • Work closely with sales, product, partners, and community stakeholders to keep marketing programs moving, organized, and measurable • Support product launches with project plans, asset coordination, communications, and follow-up motions, and performance tracking • Draft or coordinate newsletters, event emails, social posts, community updates, and promotional materials • Track program performance and summarize what worked, what did not, and what should happen next • Help maintain lightweight marketing processes so the team can move quickly without creating chaos
