Role Description As a Professional Accountant at Gainwell, you will assist the Revenue team with monthly revenue and billing entries, create and update reporting, and assist with reconciliations. This is a fully remote team that requires good communication skills and team commitment to complete our monthly, quarterly, and annual goals. - Assist with accrual and invoice entries, including outreach to business teams. - Assist in the creation and updating of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, mostly in Excel spreadsheets. - Assist with variance analysis and account reconciliation. - Assist with internal and external audit requests and questions. - Learn and comply with HIPAA privacy and security rules. - Be a team player, able to communicate clearly with all levels of co-workers but able to work independently. - May need to work extended time during monthly close in order to meet deadlines. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred. - Three (3) or more years of experience in accounting or finance with a focus on revenue preferred. - Proficient in working in spreadsheets with Pivot tables and multiple formulas. - Good communication skills. - Previous experience or willingness to learn PeopleSoft. Requirements - This is a full-time permanent regular salaried (W-2) employee position. - Monday through Friday work schedule (40 hours per week). - Upward career advancement is possible and encouraged. - Health (medical, dental, vision) benefits start on day 1 of employment. - Company match 401K and other benefits available within months of starting. - New employees are eligible to take advantage of flexible vacation policy after ninety (90) calendar days of employment.
